Brass Nozzle Propane Torch For BBQ, Gas Welding, Glass Blowing

This is more of a flamethrower then a torch. Was looking for something to burn wood not the house down

Puts out a lot of flame if that's what you're looking for, I thought I would be able to dial it back a lot more than I was able to.

DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS PRODUCT.The gas flow regulator would not shut off all the way. I had to turn it very tightly to get it to stop. Then one day while using this product, the shutoff regulator started leaking while I was using it. The gas leaked out through the shut-off regulator enough to make its way to the front where the flame was shouting out. The gas burst into flames and was very difficult to put out. I finally got the flames put out and took it off the propane tank. I assumed this was just a bad valve, so I bought another one in hopes that it would work better. It did not. In fact, it was worse. The same thing happened, but this time the flame was worse, bigger, and enveloped the entire handle, tank, and my hand. It burnt my hand. I threw it out in the grass until I could throw some dirt on it. It lights easy and puts out a flame from minimal to full blown blow torch. The first one I got had a valve that would not close all the way and leaked gas with an audible hiss. The free replacement works great.

The brass torch most of us have been buying for a while (the one with the screen at the tip) has been a great torch, especially at it's price. This newer torch is pretty much the same besides the handle, electronic start, and a few other minor changes, but what made the real difference is the new tip. The new tip has taken this from an already good torch to a seriously great torch. The flame can be bushy or tight, depending on how you set it, and the length has increased dramatically. Since the new tip is not screen, the flame will be consistent, and never deviate from it's center point. This is great torch, you won't be disappointed.

Thought the gas adjustment control would completely shut off propane cylinder.Unfortunately a slight gas flow keeps occurring. I thought the touch was safe, but next day the torch had had a very fineflame burning and about half the new cylinder was depleted.Very nice unit as far as power, ergonomics, adjustment.etcSadly,I have to unscrew torch after every use 😩

I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. I used the torch two or three times without a problem, after sitting on the shelve for about a week I noticed the propane tank was empty, I replaced the propane and hit the igniter. Flames began shooting out the back side of the handle (by the control knob and igniter button). Unable to blow the flames out I began twisting the bottle off to get rid of the fuel source. That is when the pistol grip failed. After several attempts to extinguish the flames, I finally trapped the torch under my foot and managed to twist the propane tank off. Clearly there was a gas leak from the control knob that weakened the handle and lead to it failing. In my opinion this devise is extremely dangerous and would not recommend it to anyone

This torch is a beast, with a huge flame. Everything was in working order valve and igniter both worked correctly. Great buy for the $$$ My only real complaint would be the position of the igniter, eventually that will cause problems with the ignition system.

I received mine with a loose flow regulator nut bouncing around inside the plastic handle. I had to unscrew and take the handle apart to retrieve and install the nut back on the regulator knob to retain it in place and problem fixed. The second issue I had was to reinstall the bare current return wire that had fallen off and connects the base of the electric igniter to the base of the torch body. This is necessary for proper spark intensity. The third issue I have is even when the flow is completely closed, a tiny bit of propane gas is still venting off the nozzle no matter what so... Unless you buy things advertised as new with the intention of having to fix them right out of the box... I don't recommend you buy this thing. I have to always unscrew it from the tank otherwise it becomes an explosion hazard as it wont cut off all gas flow.

I bought two of these torches and they both leak like the Titanic . Flames burst out of the valve , burnt the hair on my face and hands. Extremely dangerous . should all be recalled !!! Had two put one star unfortunately.
