This is the first pair of ankle weights I've ever bought. I noticed a difference as soon as I wore them. They're only 1kg but you can feel your leg muscles having to work a little harder which I love because I can get a small workout just by simply walking, especially up stairs. Overall, they seem comfy. Being my first pair I do find them a bit fiddly. I have to make sure I position them perfectly or a tiny part starts to dig in and hurt. I also find it strange that the securing strap is so stretchy. I'm sure there's an advantage to that, makes it more flexible or something, but it does mean that I sometimes can't secure it as tightly as I would want because the strap just keeps stretching. That would only be irritating if you wanted to run with them and couldn't tighten them as much as you needed but I'm sure that with practice I will actually get the hang of them more consistently.I've used them for a couple of days and my overall opinion is as follows - Very comfy, the material is soft and the sand like weight substance does not rub or dig in. The weights themselves make a difference, although I would say 1kg would be for beginners to weight work outs or people who just want to maintain tone. They look great, and the Velcro, from what I've seen so far, appears strong, as do the weights themselves. I'm really pleased I bought them and would recommend them confidently.

An excellent, secure and sturdy design. They are comfortable around the ankle and are easy to put on and adjust. I wear them around the house and for work outs and have noticed a difference already. I have found nothing wrong with them. A great service and amazing price, I would definitely recommend them.

While 1kg may not seem like a significant weight, it has improved my leg strength and was especially noticeable in my footwork sessions. In fact, I barely felt any strain from usual brisks walks after taking them off. The quality of the material is nicely soft and strong/elastic enough to hold the sand inside.However, it is only as strong as its weakest link which in my case was the stitching of the seam - it is only singly-stitched and I presume if all of the sand is located at one point it may burst. Luckily, I managed to spot it when I wasn't working out and managed to sew it up. I ordered on a Sunday, started to use it as soon as I received it (Wednesday), wearing it all day and for one training session. Hopefully, it is just an isolated case.Improvements I would recommend if I were to buy again or to see in future products:> Upgrade to at least 2kg.> Double stitched seams.> Since my wrists and ankles are pretty slim, it would be nice if the Velcro spanned further for better support, especially when I'm wearing around my legs.> Possibly 'segment' the sand so the distribution remains constant when running.

Ok so these are easy to use but to me they weren't comfortable as they gave me blisters. They did work well on the arms.

Very good. wanted to use for a couple of weeks before rewriting a review. These are very good, very comfortable, sometimes I forget to take them off ie how comfortable they are. I've tried a different brand that irritated my skin when worn for up to 30 minutes, even more so if I sweat wearing them. However, these are comfortable even when I sweat.Update 2019....still using them and no wear or tear. Very much worth the money.

Bought these weights a couple of weeks ago and so far I have been very impressed. They seem to be great quality and look like they will last me a long time. Since adding them to my normal home workouts I've definitely noticed that my legs feel like they have worked a lot harder afterwards and they have also come in handy for ab workout routines as they just challenge me that little bit further. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking to increase the difficulty of their leg and ab workouts without having to do more reps! The only improvement would be that although I realise the product is not advertised as wrist weights, it would be useful if the strap tightened enough to use them on my wrists too.

I absolutely love these ankle weights, they are easy to use, and make my leg workouts more challenging.
