2pcs E FAST CE4 Colour Changing Egg Timer

A great little product. This is my second. I have had the other for years but thought it time to buy a new one as finally the outside went a bit cloudy with the limescale in the water. Just pop it in the pan and watch for the colour to darken to soft medium or hard boiled. Perfect eggs every time. Bought an extra one for my son as he was so impressed!

I was certain it would't work but it did! Two out of three eggs were perfect when I cut them open & the third was fine by the time I was ready to eat it. I'd just left its top on for a few minutes longer. The problem is that nowadays a lot of eggs come in mixed size boxes so if I'd bought a box of all the same size this would possibly work perfectly. Woohoo.

Okay this is one of those products I hate to have in my drawer at home cause I hardly use it. But soon as I'm craving a boiled egg this bad boy comes to life! It's pratical and useful and as my housemates would like to agree, makes mean eggs. Everyone likes there's different and now depending who's asking, they can have there's eggs how they want it. Only problem is it's only there for one thing and that's a good boiled egg.

This really works !It isn't easy timing a soft boiled egg on an electric cooker ! Believe me I have tried many times .Eight minutes from cold on a gas cooker - depending on size of egg - pretty foolproof method.But on an electric hob - not so easy.This little gadget works for me

Cheap and does the job well.

Put it in the cold water in the pan with the egg, and switch on the power.As the water heats up the colour changes to white from the outside, gradually moving towards the inside.When you take the egg out, it's done as required!

Excellent little gadget at a great price. Works a treat once you know where the white edge corresponds with how you like your egg.
