Dry as a bone!
Extremely big, would probably fit my 6'5 son! But it does fit over my walking boot with room to spare. My leg, boot and bandages were kept dry and because it fit over the boot I felt safe and secure being able to walk on it rather than take It off and hop and risk falling over. It is made of good quality thick plastic to cover your leg, with a thick hard plastic ring around the top and an inlay of thin rubbery plastic (latex?) which has a hole in for you to put your leg. This has a good stretch and fitted over my walking boot no problem. You then pull it up and push backward to secure a suction like grip. the hard plastic ring is a bit strange/cumbersome but you soon get use to it. I also have to have another op on other foot soon and therefore it will come in handy for that also. Well made, good quality product. In my opinion worth the money even if it only last half a dozen times. great to have a shower at last!Update.Boot off but still need to keep wound dry. More confidence walking on injured foot. Thought I would try a bath. First bath - Only pulled up to knee, got in putting bad foot into water briefly. Had bath but kept foot elevated out of water whilst wearing cover. Hard ring a bit awkward trying to get out so found it easier to pull it up toward top of leg turn over and kneel when I wanted to get up out of bath, foot completely dry. Second bath the same. Third bath confidence growing actually put leg in water. It blows up a bit and foot felt like it was getting wet but it was just a feeling. The pale grey sock I wore over the bandage was still pale (would have gone dark grey had it got wet) and completely dry when I got out and removed cover. You just have to be careful, take things slowly and know how to move with it on. Great product.

it seals really tightly at the top and its comfortable. I had to buy the large version as ...
I needed some sort of leg waterproofing after having surgery on my knee and being left in a leg brace for 6 weeks. I was quite concerned about water seeping through but there is no chance of that happening with this item, it seals really tightly at the top and its comfortable. I had to buy the large version as it was all there was in stock, it is safe to say it is large indeed. I am 5ft 6" and when this is on there is easily a good 12" left over that I have to pin up. Nothing more I can say, it works and is a God send if you need to cleanse after having a medical procedure! If you appreciated my review then please click on the “helpful” button. Pleased that the seal worked
Worked for me! Recently had a hip operation requiring 3 incisions placed around my groin area. Was told not to have a bath or shower until I had stitches out (no way was I waiting that long!). This product kept my wounds/dressings completely dry. It was slightly heavy and uncomfortable to try to swing my leg over the bath to have a shower, but in all fairness, I'd only had the op 3 days prior to receiving and trying this out so a peanut resting on my leg would have felt heavy! Pleased that the seal worked. Easy 5 stars from me and well worth investing in one in the event of a casted limb or if, like me, you need to keep dressings dry.

Waterproof cast/brace cover for leg
Bought to cover a full leg knee brace for my daughter who dislocated her knee cap. It takes both of us to hold the elastic part up over her knee where it is painful but I'm sure if a plaster cast was on, the patient could do it on their own as the pressure wouldn't hurt. She sits on a stool in the shower with her leg sticking out so we get puddles on the floor but her leg stays dry! Very pleased with product.Update, 4 weeks in, my daughter is getting used to having her leg in a brace and yesterday managed to put the protector on and up over her knee on her own.

It worked well on a full leg bandage and stocking ...
It worked well on a full leg bandage and stocking after varicose vein surgery, keeping both dry in the shower. The only drawbacks were that it is a bit cumbersome - you have to think and plan your exit from the shower carefully! - and it only comes in one leg length, 40", and I'm an inside leg 29", so a bit too much spare. Otherwise OK.

Brilliant
Recently had full knee replacement, this was absolutely brilliant, I’m a big lady and this fit great, does exactly what it says on the box, kept the dressing dry, east to use. I’ve got to have the other knee done as well so this will be used again.Would recommend it, I must say though, I only used this in the shower ,so not sure if any good for using in a bath.

Did what I needed well
I needed 2 of these following a varicose vein op. They worked well, and kept my dressings dry. The seal at the top of the leg was a bit tight for comfort, but that did mean it kept the water out.Tip: a shower mat is essential when using these to avoid the risk of slipping.

Works well
I have a knee brace restricting movement following an operation - this cover is ideal - very thick plastic, following instructions completely dry inside. I was worried that the rubber seal might catch on the protruding bits of the brace but it didn't. Using it in the shower you have to bear in mind that your leg and foot inside will be dry but as you step out the outside will be wet, soapy and potentially slippery - so you need a mat of some sort and to take care. It was soooo nice to be able to take a shower....
