Brilliant book, I love this T&H series. Perfect balance of text and image (good quality images). Gives you all the basics and good references to research further if desired. Well structured too. The book arrived as described within the time frame stated. Very happy with the book and the service from the seller.

It’s a small guide for understanding better the style. Easy to read and helpful info + great pictures of cosy interiors. Really recommend it!

Nice book

Was really disappointed with this book, it is small in size, more a manual rather than coffee table book and I read it in less than 30 minutes. I had hoped for pages of real homes inspiration much like the gorgeous Kinfolk Home book but there were actually very few examples shown. At most one room and not whole houses. Most were of new designers (Hay, Muuto etc) which if you already have an affinity with the style you will be familiar with and there were few references to the old and new mix which is characteristic. Simply Scandinavian by Sara Norrman was a much better book, it gave the history, nuances of styles and whole homes. If you are completely new to the style this may be of use, but I found it lacking in depth, breadth and inspiration.

Great book with appealing images and good information. A good resource.

There's a scant selection of books about modern Scandinavian decorating, and this is the best one I've found to date. (I emphasize "modern" Scandinavian, which is a whole different style from traditional and Gustavian Scandinavian.) The text is engaging and informative, not the typical fluff of many decorating books. There are many attractive photos, but I would prefer more photos of entire rooms rather than of individual products. Nevertheless the book is well worth owning. This is not a slick coffee table book, but rather a small-format book with a semi-soft cover. Reasonably priced for the quality of the book and the caliber of the information provided. I hope the author will give us a sequel.
