I love the concept of the product but the pen light doesn't always work. Seems like it might be broken.

My daughter just got this for Christmas and was completely disappointed when the light on the end of our pen didn’t work at all!

Now I know why the picture of this product is a cartoon and not the actual product. The diary is small, there's only one set of stickers, and the "activity sheets" are a few pages at the end of the diary. This is definitely not worth $12.99 - maybe $3 at the most. I could cobble together a better gift from a dollar store. Additionally, the pen didn't work at first. Someone handy had to take it apart and put it together again. For people who are not as savvy with taking things apart, it would seem like it wasn't working. Pretty cheaply made.
