Advertised as being able to fit the standard size iPhones even with a case. I have an iPhone 5c in an Otterbox Commuter and it will not fit unless the phone is removed from the case.Once the phone is actually in this camera box, it works as advertised. We like it. It’s still a bit large for my toddler’s hands but she’ll grow into it. She likes having a camera that kinda looks like our Canon EOS 60D.She doesn’t play with it as much as she wanted to because it’s a not a quick, convenient thing to remove the phone from the otterbox and put it in this case.Amazon’s rating/review process wants me to rate the picture quality. The picture quality is dependent on your smartphone. This is NOT a camera. It is just a large phone case that LOOKS LIKE a camera.

The product is fantastic. My kid loves it and it works really well with my Iphone 6.In the beginning I had issues and I thought it was due to the product being broken. I went on their website and emailed them with my question hoping for a solution. In a day they responded with some solutions that would help me. They continued to keep the conversation alive to make sure their product was working for me. One of their suggestions did work! I can tell they take great confidence and pride in their products.I also want to say a little about their app. The app that comes with this product is easy and fun for my child!

Purchase this out of a whim during Cyber Monday. I was immediately impressed by the build quality of the case. It didn't feel like a flimsy piece of plastic, and I liked the face they added something to the side of the camera to give it a little extra grip.I have an old Samsung Galaxy 3 sitting around and thought this would be a need thing to have for the little ones to have fun with. This is NOT advertise to work on the S3, but I manage to get it to work with the OpenCamera app available on Google's play store. On Adnroid. This App was also need on my Galaxy 7; The camera case's shutter button translates to the volume button being pressed up on the phones, which default to the digital zoom feature on the phone's camera app. The OpenCamera app gave me the ability to select from a list of buttons to act as teh shutter, the volume button being one of them.I voided the warranty minutes after my first attempts to put my curved back Galaxy 3 into the case. The inside phone rubber spring clamps kept popping the phone out. I was darn near impossible to get a curve phone to stay on the clamps long enough to get the back covered closed. I only managed to get it to close once, but the phone was badly aligned in my rush to close it. So I took the case apart, which was fairly easy to do, and removed the clamps; problem solve. The back cover of the case it tight enough to keep phone in place without the need for the clamps.This was not the case when I tried using an old iPhone. The iPhone's default camera app will take a picture when the button is pushed, even really OLD iPhones. We have an iPhone 3 acting as a desk clock in one of the rooms, that work right away without needed to tweak any of the little settings offered back then. Also, saw that they advertise that this case will work with "iPhone 4/5/6/7/8/X". While this might be true with the standard phones, my wife's old iPhone 6+ or her new 8+ will NOT fit in the case, phone is too wide.Final note, and this is a common complaint I saw posted in several reviews, but the recommend photo App (Pixlplay) does not work. It didn't work on any of the phones I tried it one, Android or iPhone. This ultimately wasn't a big deal since the default camera feature work just fine on iPhone, and the OpenCamera app work on Android, but I thought it would still be worth mentioning.Also, there's not was to charge the phone with it's in the case. Just thought I would mentioned that in case it wasn't mentioned somewhere else.Overall, I'm happy with this purchase despite the fact that it wasn't a perfect fit for the various types of smart phones we have laying about. It is definitely WAY more affordable and a better alternative to the more costly 2MP VTEC kids camera I was considering getting before I saw this case.I would have not issues repurchasing or recommending this case.

BUY THIS NOW! We got this for our 6 year old who likes to take photos with our phones. We did a factory reset on my old Samsung Galaxy S4, and setting it up in the camera body was easy and simple (just plug the cord into the headphone jack, put the phone in the holder and shut the window). You may have to go into the camera settings on your phone so that the volume button can be used for the camera (this allows you to use the blue button on the camera body to take photos), but that takes only a few seconds.My rating and review is on the product itself, not the app. We chose not to download it because we didn't want this to turn into another screen for her to get sucked into, as I read about the app having games and stuff. We wanted her to have a camera, not a phone to play on, and that's exactly how she uses it.The camera body feels well-built and sturdy and the packaging was cute (at $6, I figured this would basically just be in a bag or generic box -- blah! But it was packaged up nicely -- my daughter was very excited when she saw it.Of all the gifts she received this Christmas (and believe me, there were too many), this was her favorite and at only $6, it's a no-brainer. I'm so glad I stumbled across this toy -- it's so simple and a great way for kids to express their creativity through photography, not to mention a creative new use for old smart phones! I highly recommend it to any parent of a budding photographer!EDITED TO ADD: If I could make a suggestion for improvement, it would be 1) adjust the window in the camera body so that kids can use the flash on the phone and 2) allow for phone charging while inside the camera body. Still a great product though and I plan to buy another for our younger child.

This is such a great product! My little one was always grabbing for my phone to take pictures with and after dropping it several times (eeek) I had to find a solution. This is perfect because it doesn't feel like I'm just giving her my phone - I'm giving her a camera with buttons and a "focus" and she loves it. It encourages her to finally get outside with us too because she feels like she can control the play activity and not just go for a walk. (so important for a 3-year old). It's very sturdy, and the pictures she takes are too funny. It also allows us to talk about what she saw, or was interested in because she wants to review the pictures again, which are the high-quality iphone pics. We will have this product for a long time.

No es para todos los equipos celulares, no me funcionó por qué yo uso un Motorola y el botón de encendido está justo donde está la pinza para sostener el cel y lo reinicia, pero llegó a tiempo y sin ningun golpe, accesibles para la devolución sin problemas :)
