My experience
The lack of detailed instructions is a bit disappointing so although I don’t normally write reviews, I wanted to share my experience and hopefully help someone else out who was struggling like I was!The product comes in 2x separate bottles that you mix together. No instructions on how much to do each time. I got 2x generous goes on my hair, although if I’d have known before hand then I could easily have got a third go out of it.I weighed it out in a bowl with some kitchen scales to make sure the quantities were equal.I washed my hair then sectioned it off, starting from underneath first where it was darker, leaving the top until last.I then put a plastic bag over my hair on my head and left it on for an hour. Every 15 minutes or so I gave my head a quick (and careful) blast with the hair dryer. After the hour was up, I washed and conditioned my hair with purple shampoo and conditioner to minimise the orange tones. The next day I repeated the same process again.Although the colour remover doesn’t contain bleach, it does leave your hair porous. They say you can dye your hair the same day as stripping it but It’s recommended to leave your hair at least 48 hours before dying it again and at least a week to 10 days before bleaching it. With at least 1x deep conditioning treatment in between. There is a bit of a pong to your hair afterwards, similar to perm lotion. But only slightly noticeable.

Useless.
So I’ve been dying my hair L’Oreal black cherry for a while now but decided I wanted to go back to my natural colour which is a medium ish brown. I’ve been using colour fade shampoo for about a month and using vitamin c mixed with the fading shampoo to help speed the process up, and get rid of as much of the red pigment as I can. My hair was a ginger shade after using the fader and the vitamin C powder two times and had lightened significantly to what I started with considering it was a deep red. This was going to be my last step, as I’d got rid of all of the red making it easier for the colour remover to work. Followed the instructions to a T, left on my hair for 50 mins with a bag over my head and heating it often. First off, this STINKS. it wasn’t so bad when first mixed, jut kind of smells like chemicals, but once it’s actually sat developing it reeks! I washed it after the time required and it basically made no difference to my hair at all, only SLIGHTLY lightened it.Really disappointed considering I have got rid of all of the red dye and all that was left was just the base colour which this claims to remove. Not to mention I’ve washed my hair since and it still absolutely stinks. So I’m going to have to dye over with a colour that’s close to my natural shade anyway. Not really ideal considering I bought this to actually remove the colour like it states, rather than having to actually dye my hair again.Wouldn’t recommend, total waste of money

Didn't work
I used it exactly as it said. And it hardly made a difference. I am naturally blonde but even so my hair was bleached before the brown went on. It maybe pulled a *little* of the red out. Don't recommend.

stic cap and towel. Hair previousl at level 4 after treatment level 7
Good quality product. Consistency is easy to apply. A delicate fragrance. The hair after the procedure is in very good condition. Holding time 50 minutes in a plastic cap and towel. Hair previously dyed at level 4 after treatment level 7

It works!
This product definitely removes the colour, I’ve gone from black hair to an orange 😂 it didn’t go back to my natural colour but definitely put me in a much better position to get it back to being a light brown again I’m going to try another attempt in a couple of days to get it lighter again, the only fault is it smells like perm solution. But overall does what it says on the box :)

So relieved it worked for me!
I'm a natural mid-blonde but put a colour on my hair every few months to cover the ever-advancing greys. I tried a new colour and it turned my hair a light reddish brown and I just didn't recognise myself in the mirror! I tried a couple of other colours to try and get back to blondish but they didn't work. Found this Redbok product on Amazon and thought it was worth a try and I was so happy when I dried my hair and I was back to mid-blonde again and looked like me! It's a very simple product to use and gentle on the hair.

This was a disaster.
I followed the instructions carefully. I applied as much of the product to completely cover my hair and I left it for the required amount of time. When I took off the plastic bag hood I could see there were bright orange streaks running through my hair. I washed it but the orange streaks were still there. The colour dye had not been removed but had changed colour to a disgusting orangey yellow. This was an expensive mistake which I shall never make again. I cannot recommend this product to anyone but instead I should like to warn prospective buyers that it can lead to an ugly outcome.

Works
I've used 4 different brands now and prefer this the most. This was the easiest to apply, lowest smell (slight pong when you mix it, no risidual smell when you've washed it). I didn't bother with the other product it advises on the box and it still worked a treat.Make sure to wrap your head in cling film/clear carrier bag/similar and give it a blast with a hair dryer a couple of times. I left it an hour.If you're dying your hair right after reduce the time slightly as all removers tend to leave your hair more porus
