Riviera - Season 1 [Blu-ray] [Region Free]

Just finished this. Not for the squeamish but really captures the imagination. You think "what would I do, if that happened to me?" I hope I wouldn't go quite as far but I can see why she does! Can't wait for the next series.

This was surprisingly intricate and has turned out to be much more than expected, with all the intrigue twists and turns. Each episode full of action and surprises.

Worth a watch if you like to binge watch something over a week. Generally a good story, a bit violent in places - strong female character. Lots of glamour and Riviera lifestyle as well. Totally fell in love with the Sloop at the end. If only........

Great series, just buy and watch.Much enjoyed, I think we have watched it twice to make sure we did not miss any subplots.Very stylish series.

The BLURAY looks excellent showing of the locations perfectly. Good sound and Optional English Subtitles. Sadly I found the lack of sympathy (or Liking) for any of the characters didn't help. The plot is complicated, so it is advisable to binge watch, which we did. I did keep watching which must mean something, but honestly? Season Two? I just don't know if I will bother. (Positives....Good acting, locations, and plenty of actors who do have fans - Stiles/Olin/Phil Davis (very good), and wasted Anthony LaPaglia.). Obviously opinions here are mixed, so feel free...to ignore my thoughts, after all the BLURAY itself is good quality, so you may like the content more than I did.

This was the most gripping of recent drama series shown SKY - viewed and given to our son who also enjoyed it greatly

A very good DVD...I do like the South of France, Monte Carlo, Nice and Monaco always looks so elegant and I always find the actress Julia Styles very watchable and often captivating.The storyline is very far fetched...but the scenery and the camera work and such glossy locations make this a very watchable series.If you have not visited the South of France...this DVD will certainly give you an thirst to go there.

Total garbage. Hammy acting, cheap production values, unbelievable story lines. Luckily I bought this trash cheap so was happy to chuck it in the dustbin. Would not inflict it on anyone else by donating it to a charity shop.
