Size:1500 (0.06g's) Seeds Packet Content (approx.): 1500 (0.06g's) Trailing Lobelia Blue Fountain is just about the basic plant in filling them, the `Fountain' Series has been specially bred to provide larger flowers supported by broader-leaved foliage to give a more generous use of the container. Early flowering and floriferous. We offer several separate colours and a mixture. Lobelia (Trailing), Blue Fountain Dazzling, pure blue flowers on trailing growth, ideal for growing over low walls or in tubs and hanging baskets. Best grown as a HHA - Half hardy annual. Compact plants covered with tiny flowers throughout the summer, usually grown as edging for beds and borders, often with alyssum. Lobelia (Lobelia erinus compacta) Half-Hardy Annual Sowing Months: January, Febuary, March, April Flowering Period: July onwards Culture: Sow January-April under glass in gentle heat. Flowers July-September. Sow lobelia from late winter to mid spring on the surface of a good seed compost and gently firm down. Place the seed tray in a propagator at a temperature of 18-24C (65-75F) or seal it inside a polythene bag. Keep the soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light as this aids germination which usually takes 14-21 days. When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow them on in cooler conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When lobelia plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant outdoors in full sun or semi-shade on moist, fertile, well drained soil at a distance of 10cm (4") apart. Feed and water lobelia plants frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of delicate lobelia flowers. Suitable for the garden, allotments and containers. Be prepared to water well and supplement feed with high-potash feed during season. Regular feeding is recommended.

Glorious flower display
I planted these in 2019. I got a few, but this year they came back and have produced masses of flowers from spring, and are still going strong now. Beautiful, have bought more!
