Extremely heat proof, and it's flexibility allows for lots of different uses
So... I burnt myself pretty badly with my old quilted potholders, so I decided to get a pair of silicone ones. After doing hours of "research" (on Amazon, that's the extent of the research!), I was faced with having to decide between "mitt style" and "glove style", the latter coming with fingers, as this item does. It was quite a tough choice for me, having never seen oven gloves that have individual fingers, and worried that they would be difficult to use.Now I won't say that they are as flexible as a pair of fleece gloves, say, but they sure are very usable indeed. I have no regrets deciding on this pair, as it actually allows for better grip and can be used for a lot more functions than the traditional type as you can move all your fingers (albeit a bit stiffly). I can also attest that they are extremely heat-proof, and that alone satisfies my number 1 requirement when purchasing this.Love it

Does the job as described.
I'm glad I choose these gloves considering there's a ton of competition as I have no probems with this pair and serve me perfectly well pulling out trays and picking up pans.

Heat resistant for 20 seconds.
Don't live up to the expectations. Can only hold hot dishes from the oven for seconds before the heat is hitting your fingers. My wife struggles to put them on even with her small hands. I wouldn't dare try them in boiling water to remove food. Only positive is the quick delivery.

Far too big to be safe or useful for anyone without spade sized hands. The seams also let heat through more quickly than the rest of the glove.

Ordered it for cooking as I already have oven gloves. These are too bulky for general cooking on the hob. Unable to hold any spatulas.
