Makes a good looking SAK
This pair of SAK scales were top quality and carefully machined. These do NOT snap on so an adhesive must be used. I desired the scales to be permanent so used JB Weld steel epoxy resin. The fit was perfect. Surfaces to be joined were cleaned with lacquer thinner and lightly sanded. Additionally the holes in the scales were further scored inside with a small Dremel abrasive bit. Care must be used in applying the JB to the scales especially near the attachment grooves. Three c-clamps were used to hold the scales securely in place. The excess JB must be cleaned off immediately (lacquer thinner was used). Any JB left on will be extremely difficult to remove after it cures. When clamping leave the groove openings accessible for cleaning out any excess JB. Some JB did enter the grooves and was removed by repeatedly inserting and extracting the attachments and wiping off JB traces until they came out clean. Remove the attachments while the JB cures. The clamped knife was left in a warm location overnight. The next day it was necessary to remove some JB that had not been noticed with a small scraper, ultra fine sand paper, and lacquer thinner. Cautionary side note: I accidentally splashed a quantity of lacquer thinner on one of the removed red plastic scales and essentially destroyed it. I am 100% satisfied with the final product. I ordered a second pair (textured) to use on a second knife (these scales were mounted on a Huntsman, the next is a Swiss Champ). Update: my SAK Swiss Champ now has a pair of the titanium scales. This time the scales were attached over a two day period to make the cleanup of the excess epoxy easier. Initially one of the original plastic scales remained on the knife while the first titanium scale was added. This made clamping easier.

Very heavy duty replacement.
I really liked how solid these scales feel. Even heavier than the Alox scales on some Victorinox models. I would have given them 5 stars, but there is no 'ridge/bump' in the channel for the toothpick to retain it. (Look at the plastic scale I removed.) I may try to add one using a small amout of epoxy.

Great fit and finish for classic Swiss army knife.
I took a chance on the grooved version of these replacement scales to give my plain red Victorinox Fieldmaster a custom look, and since I couldn't find black or solid blue. I used some warm water to soften the original plastic scales and pop them off while allowing them to possibly be reused later. The titanium scales fit great, but definitely require epoxy as they do not snap into place. The toothpick and tweezers fit great, maybe just a hair tighter. The texture provides excellent grip but isn't abrasive or rough in the pocket. I did a test grind on the inside of the scales before application, which showed white sparks thus confirming it is titanium. I'm pleased with these, and I'll try to remember to comeback for updates on how they wear over time.

Nice, but will not snap right in
These look and feel nice. However, they will not snap right in the way the factory ones do. I see a couple of reviewers mentioned using epoxy. I may have to try that option.

Very pleasantly surprised
I was hesitant due to the price. Can’t find titanium scales anywhere else for this low, but I took a shot and I’m glad it did. Fit was perfect, snapped right on. I did use some epoxy as well. They look and feel great. Very happy.
