Fine Spray Mini Sandblaster / Air Eraser

I did a quick unboxing and review after using this in a recent project - [...]Overall it did the job and for the price I'd give it 5 stars.Few points:- The mask that comes in the package is ok for a few uses but I would suggest investing in a good mask and protective googles (glasses dont do the job because the compound will still get in your eyes).- It clogged a few times but just make sure you have a decent air flow, I set mine between 40-50 psi.- It really does work! It cleans metal and gives a nice sandblasted effect on glass and plastic, I'm sure there are more uses for this thing too.

the sandblaster is good the cups are useless and you cant get spares..the sandblaster does not work any more and i havnt had it a month

Purchased this elsewhere - only had it a few minutes and the filling hopper cup broke off in my hand just as I was screwing the lid on.As it is advertised as a mini sandblaser, as a glass engraver, I found it useless for my needs.I had it connected to a brand new AS-48A Airbrush compressor which has a maximum pressure of 87 PSI so the compressor was not an issue.I dont know if it was because it was faulty but prior to it falling off in my hands I did get a small chance to test it out on glass.I found that I had to keep the brush about 1cm away from the glass surface to get it to actually etch, even then it produced only a very find line of about 2cm wide for me this was just too thin and I could not figure out how to get it wider.The other massive issue I had with this item was the size of the hopper / cup. Way too small and empties way to quick!If you plan on engraving / frosting large areas I advise againsr this item for such use as, for me, it did not cover enough spanAnyway it is on its way back for a refund.

Bought this out of curiosity without expecting much from it. How wrong could I be!Within an hour I'd freehand- etched a picture onto glass,etched a control symbol on a brass plate, cleaned all the rust off of a fiddly little cogwheel, and taken the shine off of a plastic control surface that had worn smooth and shiny :~)Works really well even with my rather weedy diaphragm airbrush compressor.The one downside is that it didn't arrive with it's fancy plastic storage box, but hey, cardboard works, and the world is full of empty boxes!Totally impressed, five stars.........

Clogs too easily. Does not live up to the reviews which was the basis for this purchase being made. Compressor/Oil and water trap used to prevent clogging with no success. Even when the sand was flowing, the output was disappointing to say the least. I intended to use this tool to remove paint from models but it was not up to the job.

Great etching tool for glass.

Arrived safely and well packaged on Saturday 17th. Works well delighted.
