Nice product
I used this for the underside of my rv engine cover. More for heat than noise, we couldn't use the cup holders, dog would burn his paws ect... The bonus was there was enough to layer it 3 times and it cut down on the noise tremendously as well!! It is very sticky! Not pretty but can't be seen anyway.

This is not heavy sound deadener so use for when you want to dampen
My Tundra Limited has a pretty quiet interior to begin with so I wasn't looking to deaden the floor, doors, or rattling trunk. I just needed to get after a few resonances that happen under the right conditions in my music with the front and rear doors.I recommend picking up some butyl to reset the clear plastic dust shield that you need to remove to apply this. Take your time and prep the doors correctly, removing any hardware, wiring, brackets, etc that would get in the way of application. I did not need to dampen the out door panel, only the interior panel where my speaker was mounted. I cleaned and prepped my surfaces completely before installing the roll of dampener. It really helps to make a cardboard template first that you can trace onto the silver side of the dampener roll and pre-cut. It also helps cut down on waste. When I was finished I reinstalled the dust shield with new butyl. The difference is astounding and my unwanted vibrations are gone. I also get a little better clarity with lows and highs. This isn't as tacky or sticky as Dynamat (butyl sound deadening) so it takes a little more prep and work to get to stick well. The rollers and panel removal tools are a bonus and I'll use them for future projects!

Good product with great customer service.
200mil 36.16 Sqft Car Sound Deadener Deadening Mat Noise and Heat Shield Insulation Closed Cell PE Foam Vibration Dampening Material with Self Adhesive with Rollers & 4 pcs Car Trim Removal Tools.I have to say this is a good product and from a company with great customer service. According to the listing and the description the kit is meant to come with two rollers, a large one and a small one. My kit was missing the larger of the two rollers. I immediately contacted the seller and they immediately responded. They have me lots of options to make it right and eventually fast shipped me the larger roller.I did not use this product for automotive purposes. I made a box out of plywood to house a rocker piston pump which provides aeration to my pond. The plywood box provided a lot of sound reduction but the plywood in the walls vibrated as the rocker piston pumped so it was not as quiet as it should have been. This product help reduce the pressure wave having a hard surface to push against and move.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful!REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

sound deadening-yes,heat shield-maybe,missing roller
I used a similar brand on my van engine cover which didn't seem all that heat resistant. I thought I'd try again with this product which claims to be a little thicker, but still shrivels up when I hit it with a heat gun. I could not find what they mean by "heat resistant" and I will have to see just how hot it gets inside the engine compartment. It is very sticky when you remove the plastic, though not as much as the other product. This may actually be a plus when using it on doors as once the other brand stuck, you could not move it without destroying it. The tools may come in handy for other jobs, but they were not strong enough to release the metal clips. The large roller was missing from my kit. I wish they also included a roll of metal tape for the seams like the other brand.
