Almost perfect.
This set of 4 quick release keychain rings are great for quickly attaching and detaching your keys or any other items you hook onto the rings. The keychains seem to be well made and does stay attached very securely. The keychain itself is pretty lightweight, but not in a cheap low quality way. It is light, yet feels durable enough to withstand daily usage, while not adding too much to the overall weight. I have my car's key fob, a mini pocket light, and several rewards cards attached using these quick release rings and they work very well. If I need to valet my car, I can quickly detach my key fob without handing my entire set of keys. When its dark out, I can quickly detach the pocket light and use it without the hassle of all the unnecessary items. The same goes for the rewards cards. I can easily detach the cards and scan them without much hassle. The only issue I have with these keychains is the way it detaches. I like that it requires two hands to pull apart, but the problem is with the where you hold to release the two parts. First of all, the metal is a bit slick, so if you hands or fingers are wet or oily, it will make it very difficult to detach. I also found that having gloves on makes it really difficult to detach as well. Another issue that adds to this difficulty is in the way it detaches. You have to, depending on how you orient it, pull or push one end of the loop towards or away from the other in order to release the the two ends. There just isn't enough leverage to easily do this even without any oil or moisture on your hands. It took me several attempts before getting the right feel. Even after this, it felt clumsy and not very comfortable to perform this task. These issues can be easily remedied by adding some texture to the body of the of the keychain to avoid it being too slippery and either narrowing the body of the keychain or widening the end closer to the loop so there is more leverage when pulling to release the two ends.

Useful Keychains
I use these to put an ignition key or remote on one end and house keys on the other. Then, when yo go in for service, you separate them and keep the house keys.

Quick release key rings
I got these to add some quick release key rings to my keychain. These work as expected. I haven't had any accidental detachments yet.

Thought It Was A Bogus Product But Got Working
The media could not be loaded. Upon receipt of the product envelope with four of the split apart keychain, tried each of the four keychains, but could not get them to separate. Took a hammer to one of them, finding that perhaps the product rusted shut, but upon releasing it, was able to squeeze the ends together and separate the two halves.

Not high quality
I received four of these a week ago and I am currently on the 3rd one. The end has come apart on two of them. I do not recommend.

A classic that still delivers!
In a world of “EDC” devices, my keychain has become more massive than my old junior high school custodian’s. Oddly, I only have 1 key on it (for my front door; my car “key” is just a fob, so that doesn’t count. The rest of it is occupied by a mini Swiss Army knife I’ve had since I was a kid, a “Gerber Shard” multi tool thingy, an emergency everything-charging cable that snaps together magnetically, 2 flashlights (don’t ask), a Tile key finder AND an AirTag (I lose a lot of stuff), some disappointing Kickstarter items (a supposed tiny box opener that wouldn’t cut butter, a tiny pen that only works sometimes, etc., etc.).But probably the most useless of all is one-half of one of these pull-apart key rings that I’ve left on there for years for fear that one of these days, I’ll finally find the other half and they will be reunited. When I came across this FOUR pack, I knew I could finally give up on that dream! In all seriousness, these things are time tested and incredibly useful. There are always times when you don’t need all your keys (or other stuff) on you and these make it easy to group things together for splitting up. Besides the firm, reliable connection and quick release function, a great feature is that - when connected - the ends can still independently spin 360 degrees. Believe me this helps from things getting bound up and tangled. The ones that arrived feel just a bit lighter than the ones from the “old days” - perhaps due to lesser quality metal - but I gave one a good “stress test,” pulling the two rings apart as hard as I could, and they’re definitely not going anywhere. Now all I need to do is break it to my old one-half on my keychain that it’s time to give up on finding its soulmate.

Keeping a close eye on it but so far they are working great
I like that this is a multipack because I think somebody that is using these typically might have multiple sets of keys or something that they are trying to attach to one other item. one of my favorite quick detach keychains only came with one so I have one key fob that has the end on it and one that does not so it was kind of annoying. now I'm able to put the same ends on the two different key fobs so depending on which one I need to grab I don't need to take both of them with me. one thing I would say is that it does feel like they might not work after an extended amount of use. the release function of these keychains has a bit of give in it and I could imagine it won't take much wear before it fails. but I guess luckily I have three other ends so if it does fail I can just swap it out for one of the extras. I have not had any issues and use it daily so far so I am not saying it is going to happen or will happen but they do feel a little on the budget side.
