Nutritional support for your cat's joints Maxi-Joint Plus 500mg for Cats has been specially developed to support the structure and active use of cat's joints. The feline musculoskeletal system is known to be at risk of developing joint problems as well as a range of other debilitating conditions as a result of injury, age and general wear and tear. Maxi-Joint Plus 500mg supports the normal comfort and mobility of your pet. Supports joint cartilage Glucosamine is a key ingredient in this formula and has been well documented to support the condition of cartilage, tendons and ligaments that make up the joints. Clinical studies suggest that glucosamine contributes to the maintenance of proper joint function. A Source of omega 3 Fish oil powder is an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids which are known to have many benefits to the body. This aids the smooth functioning of the joints. Bone and connective tissue health Manganese is added as an active ingredient as cats do not have the natural ability to make this mineral for themselves. Manganese is beneficial to the maintenance of normal bone health and aids the formation of the connective tissue surrounding the joints.

It smells very unpleasant
My cats hate it. They refuse to eat it in their food. When opening the capsual the smell is very unpleasant so I undrstand why they turn it down. I would never attempt to give it to them whole as it is far too big. I had been using Yumove and the cats were fine with that and it doesn't smell bad so I'll go back to using Yumove. I purchased the VitaPaws one in the hope of saving money as it is much cheaper but in the long run it has cost more as I will throw it away and go back to Yumove.

cat wouldn't go near it
I hoped this would be like the Joint Aid that Vitapaws sold through Simply Supplements and which is no longer available. I forgot to check the ingredients and they are not the same but worse was to come. My cat doesn't seem to mind Joint Aid but would rather starve himself to death than touch this.
