FINALLY!!!! The BEST undies of my life! And I'm 46!
*Following is my very detailed review of these undies. Scroll down for the TL;DR version if you're not about the little details. ;) I am person who is obese, apple shaped (biggest in the middle), who suffers from a myriad of complex medical conditions, who also has sensitive skin, fibromyalgia AND hyperhidrosis. I cannot wear anything that is binding or pinching or it literally hurts. For the past 20 years, I've gone commando, because while some underwear (size 9 or 10) I could fit, it hurt to sit or bend in them. I finally tried sizes 12 and 13 from big brand FotL, and those were more tolerable, but again, while sitting, they dug into my waist. To complicate things, I am always sweaty, and have frequent bouts (chronic I'd say) of intertrigo. No OTC or Rx meds have helped. In the last 3 years, I've slowly been swapping my entire wardrobe and bedding from any fiber to only natural, breathable fiber. I can only wear cotton, bamboo, tencel, silk and modal... even in the cold winter months in Minnesota. Bye bye polyester!Last week I had a brilliant idea to measure my waist WHILE sitting, so I can find underwear based off that measurement! Normally I wear a 2-3X or 22-24 in plus size women's apparel. But because I don't fit into a neat little box with proportional measurements, NOTHING fits right! The right size leggings for my waist leave the butt, legs and ankles fitting like normal pants on me. Anyways, my waist, while sitting, measures 60 inches around. I was on the hunt for perfect underwear - boxers or biker short style to prevent chafing of the thighs, high waisted to not sit RIGHT on my waist (anything below the belly button just falls or rolls down or off), and preferably bamboo, tencel or modal. I even searched men's underwear! Would you believe there are WAYYYY more modal & bamboo undies for men than there are for women?!? I was shocked! We need natural fiber THE most near our precious bits! Bits that can't breathe properly are in for a whole slew of issues!!! Anyways, I finally stumbled across these, and bought a pair to try. As soon as I pulled them out of the package, I KNEW they were going to work! I was a bit worried about the waistband itself, because normally I would choose either covered/rolled edges, very thin covered elastic, or a yoga or maternity waist panel. Most waistbands like this cut into my skin and hurt, but surprisingly, so far, no pain! The legs are a little big, but I honestly don't even care! They'll probably shrink a bit when I wash them, but to keep them in tip top shape, I'll wash them in cold water and hang dry them.TL;DR version: These women's boxers are the best I've found for my shape and size. If you are big in the middle and apple shaped, or suffer from fibro or hyperhidrosis or chronic intertrigo or simple chafing, give these a shot! They're thin, breathable, ultra-stretchy, and natural fiber!!! I LOVE them so much, I bought 3 more pairs. Yes, they're a little pricey, but IMHO, having something that is sometimes necessary (when wearing dresses and it's windy outside, or under nightgowns with roommates, etc), and they're everything you've been looking for, I say go for it! Well cared for modal can last a very very long time. I have modal lounge pants from Target from 2001 that I still wear around the house. They're threadbare at the thighs, and ratty on the bottom edge, but they're the most comfortable pants I've ever owned, so I keep them. Not bad for 22 year old pants! And of course, they've been discontinued discontinued and revived several times over the years, but I haven't seen them in many moons. Regardless, my measurements are 5' 7" tall (short torso, long legs - 31" inseam), women's plus size 2-3X/22-24 depending on fit and brand, apple shaped (big stomach and waist, skinny legs, arms, small hands, fine boned, narrow shoulders, etc), 240 lbs. I can wear underwear in sizes anywhere from 9 - 14, but I can't comfortably sit in them. I got the 5X in these for maximum comfort, and they're loose, but not baggy, and no signs of being so big that they'll fall down.Well, I hope my review helped anyone who's not a standard size plus sized person make a choice about these undies. They're honest great for my situation and needs. No more pinchy binding waistbands! Woot!!!*Note: I decided to just wash and dry these in the dryer, and have had no issues with shrinking or pilling. For the people who have said to size down, be sure to read the measurements in the size guide, because not every body is the same shape. I needed the extra room in the waist, and the legs and butt are a bit big, but I don't care as I wear them for comfort and breathability. In plus size clothing I wear a 2 or 3X in tops and dresses, or a 22-24, and in bottoms (which I avoid like the plague) I need a 4X for the waist to not hurt, dig in, pinch or bind. I initially purchased these in a 4X, but they dug in whilst sitting, and I sit a lot due to mobility issues. The last 12 pairs I've ordered have been 5X in the 8 inch length. I've also never experienced a change in fabric type as one reviewer said, so we'll see what the next set is like (all black).**I do think they're a bit high priced, but for me to have finally found underwear that doesn't cause me pain or other issues, it's well worth it to me. Modal and micromodal are softer than cotton and thinner, yet still are *usually* made from natural fibers, and seem to be more breathable than cotton, bamboo or mulberry silk. I believe these are modal made from either eucalyptus, tencel, lyocell, bamboo or a blend of them, as I've had no issues with them being able to breathe... and I sweat a lot.***I personally have a hard time understanding how so many women's undies are made of nylon, polyester, polyamide and other synthetics, when they don't breathe at all... those fabrics are literally plastics, made from petroleum. They're also terrible for the environment, and every time they're washed release microplastic filaments into the water supply. Polyester has been shown to affect endocrine and reproductive health in men, and some polyesters even contain BPA. Scary stuff!

Worth more than the money many times over!
Note, do size down. I normally would have ordered a large, that is the size I wear in women panties, but I am so glad I read the reviews and ordered a medium instead. They could not be more comfortable.I am buying more boxers in different colors and lengths from this company because these are hands down the best underwear I have ever worn. They are so, so comfortable! I have a medical condition with my colon and surrounding organs, so these have been amazing at not squishing my guts, the low cut is perfect without hurting me, they are so comfortable. They do not ride up or roll up and fit perfectly under even my skinny jeans, which is a first. They feel amazing. They control sweat - the only pair that has not given me swamp butt and kept me cool during this summer heat at work all day long. Seriously, I am so glad I invested in these instead of a few other brands I was looking at that were cheaper. They are worth more than their price! After trying these I immediately bought some 6 inch and 3 inch ones. The 3 inch boxers are the most comfortable and look really good on me, at least according to my husband. This brand has certainly won a very loyal customer with me and I will tell everyone about them. Which I am honestly surprised about because I can be so picky and hard to please sometimes. But this blew it out of the water for me! Do seriously consider sizing one size down from the normal panty size you wear, though, but YMMV.

Love the Product. If there is anything better I don't know about it yet. Problem with Tri - Pack
My family has a couple of chunky individuals and chafing is an issue. I bought it for them and now everyone including males are using it. They are super comfortable and definitely help with the chafing. To be more precise it's a family thing now since everyone find them as an upgrade from traditional underwear even the guys. We like the 8" inseam since they are obviously longer. Nobody cares for how they look just how comfortable they are. Like I said in the title "if there is anything better I don't know about it yet", please let me know. Be aware that if you order the tri-pack there is an issue with the package label. It has happened to me twice. First time I could gift them but last time I had to call for a replacement. At some point someone somewhere is putting a label above the original label and sizes are getting changed so you get a different size in your order. Other than that we love the product.

Finally found the Holy Grail of womens boxers...but does run big...
Lets start with this...I have been looking for reasonably priced womens boxers for a few years. to wear under dresses in the summer (NOT shapewear, just in place of underwear and to eliminate chaffing, etc). I have tried the store bought ones (limited options). I have tried several of the "slip wear" options. I have tried far too many brands. I finally settled on Tomboy-x and liked them (expensive)...but when they were getting older, I bought more from them and they were not the same. They seemed to be missing an inch or 2 of overall fabric in the rise and I constantly needed to pull them up over my booty! Annoying for sure!Back to trying new ones yet again!, especially since these are my PJs, with a tank top since menopause reared her ugly head! I came across these, read the reviews saying they run big, and adjusted my order accordingly. I am a 16/18 and curvy/round...I got the XL. These are perfect for my sleeping needs! Soft, thin, comfortable, nice and higher waisted to stay put as I sleep, no slipping down! I have not tired under a dress yet.My only complaint with any of these are the waistband colors. In order to wear under some dresses, those bold letters are a problem. Any womens underwear manufacturer should offer PLAIN white, nude, black...with plain corresponding waistbands. I know its super boring, and does not offer a place for their brand name placement...but then they can not be worn under light color clothing, etc.But overall, these are the perfect solution for me for my sleeping boxers and to hopefully wear under sundresses! I already ordered a second set!
