CampartOslo Cool Box

Bought this as a replacement for my Halfords coolbox that I managed to blow when changing between wagons (12v equipment doesn't like having 24v put through it...dooooaaa). I picked this mainly because it is cheap, and was on prime. I'm really happy with it, it works well, is quieter than my Halfords one was, and my other was 14 litre capacity, this takes up the same footprint and has nearly double the capacity. It cools well, and stays cool. I was a little dubious as the sidewalls are a lot thinner than the Halfords one. Bearing in mind, I run it constantly for 12+ hours a day. One fault I can find is that the lid is separate, and not hinged. It doesn't particularly bother me, but I could see this could become a pain if you were going in and out of it all day.Also, due to it going in the wagon I changed the standard cigarette lighter power, to a hella plug. While doing this I did notice that there isn't a fuse in the lighter plug. I put an inline fuse on mine. will it save it if I throw 24v through it? I doubt it, but ive learned my lesson to check the power sockets!For the price, and if you've got prime next day delivery I cant grumble. Its £20 cheaper than others, some of which have less capacity

I bought this to have with me when travelling from the UK to Italy by road because I didn't want to have to be putting masks on to go into service stations en route.The cooler worked brilliantly and kept fruit, meat, cheese, milk and dog food fresh for the four days I was travelling.The secret is to make sure everything is really cool to start with i.e. straight from the fridge. This unit is not designed to cool things down - just keep things that are already cool, cooler for longer.I stopped en route in apartments and used the fridge freezers there to re-cool my food and refreeze the ice packs I used with it. But even setting off at 8am and arriving at 8pm the food was still cool having run the fan intermittently through the day (swapping between the cooler and charging my phone)

A good family size but only comes with a 12v charger and not a mains charger.

Very poor quality output of refrigeration. -Let me qualify.This is advertised as a camping unit. I used a 24 ah battery and it was drained to empty in 3 hours. ( I also first plugged it into the mains electricity to start off so that the cool/cold temperature could be achieved without using any battery power).So question :- How are you supposed to keep food cool and keep away food poisoning if you go camping for more than say 5-6 hours.( as soon as battery power ended the internal temperature rose quickly to unhelpful levels.)I immediately contacted Amazon and received a full refund since the product is not fit for purpose. Again, just to clarify- if you are plugging it into the mains it works just fine but this should be made clear in the advertising. This unit is definitely not for camping without a mains electricity supply.Brian. UK

Good quality, well packed and value for money

The product it's awesome, didn't expect to be so easy to use and I did like that even after is not in charger it's still keeps your drinks cold

Cooled with furnished power cables in 2 hours. Added the frozen plate as well and it wiill keep food and beverages fairly cold after 12 to 15 hours.You can still keep the cool temperature 5 to 8° with the furnished cables, if needed. Works fine for me.

Koelt goed, ruime inhoud, bijna geruisloos in eco-stand. Ideaal om met usb via een powerbank een poosje te koelen als er geen stopcontact in de buurt is.Tip: neem alles gekoeld mee en voeg wat bevroren koelelementen toe. Al met al super tevreden!

Bellino e soprattutto valido. Non é un congelatore, ma se si mette la roba già fredda con qualche placca di ghiaccio fa egregiamente il suo dovere.Io lo accendo la sera prima del giorno di utilizzo e mi trovo bene; non particolarmente silenzioso nella modalità max, mentre lo é nella modalità ECO.Ottimo il fatto di poterci attaccare un powerbank mentre sei in spiaggia o altrove, però consuma velocemente la batteria (poi dipende dalla capacità della stessa), nella modalità eco consuma meno.Comunque con tutti questi accorgimenti (e cavo accendisigari per l'auto), a fine giornata le bevande sono ancora molto fredde.Le bottiglie da 1,5 litri non ci stanno in piedi ... vanno sdraiate.Se si mettono le lattine da 66 cl. ce ne possono stare anche forse una trentina!OTTIMO ACQUISTO
