ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: The Formaldehyde-Free Keratin is the STEP 2 of the Hair Care System. It is especially formulated to smooth hair in a natural way leaving it manageable, hydrated and full of shine. This straightening treatment is healthy for your hair because it is a Formaldehyde-Free product. HOW IT WORKS: Its special blends of amino acids and distinct elements, which substitute the straightening effect of formaldehyde, create a formula that strengthens each hair strand. The Formaldehyde-Free Keratin also nourishes the hair with a combination of natural nutrients such as rosemary, apricot and jojoba oil, among others. *The Formaldehyde-Free Keratin Treatment can be applied every 2 to 3 months depending on the maintenance regime you practice. By following the STEP SYSTEM using STEP 3 Sulfate-Free Shampoo and STEP 4 Moisturizing Conditioner as part of your daily hair care routine and using other products from the Hair Care System line, you can extend the effects of the straightening treatment. BENEFITS: This product is harmless for the health of its users and stylists. The results are impressive. APPLICATION PROCESS: Wash hair with STEP 1 Clarifying Shampoo. Towel-dry your hair. If hair is still wet use the blow dryer without using a brush. Divide hair in sections and apply STEP 2 Formaldehyde Free Keratin with a brush. Comb hair through to eliminate excess of product. Blow dry hair with brush. Flat-iron your hair with a maximum temperature between 380°F and 410°F (190°C and 210°C). For red and bleached hair or hair with highlights use the flat iron with a maximum temperature of 380°F (190°C). Leave Keratin on for 3 days.
