It is beautiful in the wall and the chimes are not harsh!

Need to have better guidance on how to have the chimes so that they coordinate with the actual time.Needless to say but I have not done that yet!

This replaced an almost identical clock that lived its life. Works great and looks just like the one we had. It is plastic though and not wood.

I put it in my den over the fireplace runs great keeps up the time looks awesome in there

i like the clock but the chime is too loud, no control. i tried the phonenumber but it was disconected.i really like a chime clock but may have to return.

Unlike many clocks which require an MIT degree to function, this clock is simple and fast in it's setup. Getting the chimes to correspond to the hour couldn't be easier. It actually chimes when the second hand hits the twelve. Great clock!

I read directions for chime incorrectly!The clock is very nice, keeps perfect time! Chimes sound awesome( 4 rooms away)Very much value for money paid! Well pleased

I'm very pleased with this clock! I purchased it to replace a family heirloom that had broken & this one is a very close match. The instructions are very simple & easily understood. The time & chime are 100% accurate so far. Worth the $ for sure. I have included a photo of the instructions on how to set/reset the Chime, time etc. Loving mine for sure!

I bought as a gift for my parents and it's working out fine. Original clock was a genuine chiming & winding clock. This battery version is much more handy -no my weekly winding and the overnight chime mute is awesome! The chimes are a bit electronic/artificial compared to real chimes -but we have become accustomed to it and are fine with it. Keeps perfect time.

Like others and the description have said, it's all plastic. The build itself is decent enough, I had two issues with mine:- The pendulum did not start immediately, and it actually didn't work until I played around with it a bit. It's working now, it's only been a couple of days but so far so good.- The logo on the window for the pendulum is a sticker, and mine was crooked by a lot. I did manage to move the window itself in order to better position it, was less effort than I thought.So it is what it is, I think for the cost it's completely fine, the style is perfect for what I wanted and it'll work until I find a real wood better quality version of this somewhere locally.

Very dissatisfied with this product. Pendulum doesn't swing no matter how straight the cock is. Chimes never ring at the correct time. Doesn't matter how many times you push the reset button to correct the chimes, they still ring incorrectly. It always rings one more time than it actually is. Example:. Instructions say 10:00 A.M press set button 4 times. Clock chimes 11 times. So, I thought if i reset at 11 o'clock it says press reset button 5 times. So I pressed it 3 times equal to nine o'clock. But clock still rang 12 times even though I set it for 9 O'Clock. Removed batteries.to reset clock. Pressed the set button for 9 O'Clock. It was actually 11 o'clock. Clock rang 12 times again. I'm returning this item. I could live with the pendulum not working but not a clock that chimes the wrong times!

If it is 1 oclock It may chime 8 times , When its midnight it may chime 2 or 3 times,, When it 9oclockit chimes 3 times, The chimes nver are the same as the time, Other fromthat theclock is fine, WE even put more expensive Batterys in it, It didn;t make any difference

its a nice looking clock but it does'nt have a volume controlland when it turns off for the night it will come back on tochime the next morning. the chime is ok but a little " tinny " sound and when i had to reset it that was not something that worked as well as i thought it would.
