This is a calf / leg stretcher. The material is super soft and doesn't irritate or scrape my skin. I’m working on keeping my flexibility and balance as I get older, but sometimes it is hard for me to stretch out before and after working out. This is great as I'm still steady on my feet, but still get the stretching I need. I can use this standing up, lying down, or I can be on all fours. The stretcher comes with a very sturdy nylon like material that is sewn into the handle so I can adjust how far down I can start pulling on it from without worrying about it slipping or tearing. Very versatile!

If buying as an alternative to castle flex, the problem with this product is that it does not have a wide base to wrap around your whole foot so you can't get the deep stretch that more expensive products offer. That being said, for the price, it does do a decent job at getting basic stretches in.

trying to use it for sciatica. A lot of adjusting is necessary which is hard when you have a severe sciatica. would be better if you could just slide your foot into a pre-made boot instead of all the straps.

This stretching device works reasonably well. The strap function for velcroing to your foot is potentially useful but a bit of a pain to strap on and off. I feel that it is trying to complicate a device that, in fact, should be really simple.However, if you have a hard time keeping a stretch strap in place while using this might be a good item for you.
