Orient"Mako-3" Japanese Automatic/Hand-Winding 200m Diver Style Watch

Any Orient from the Mako 3, Ray 3, or Kamasu 2 series is an incredible buy. In fact, it's baffling that brands like Seiko can still sell their low spec, overpriced desk divers when these Orients are available.This is my second Mako 3, and just as it happened with the 1st one I have to report the watch is way more beautiful in life than in pictures. The watch is pretty enough as it comes out the box, but really levels up when you add a custom bracelet from "Miltat." These bracelets range in price between $60-$90 USD. And yes, the watch is beautiful enough to warrant such upgrades.The 1st pics are featuring the factory bracelet, then with some Nato Straps, then with the Miltat bracelet I recommend, and finally, I show it next to the Kamasu 2, the Ray 3, and many other Orient watches as well for comparison.Conclusion: A watch that cost less than $300 USD, yet comes with an automatic movement with 40 hours of power reserve, 200 meters of water resistance, unidirectional bezel with 60 mins markers, and a unique look and feel. Simply put, there's nothing else like it in the market.

This is a great everyday watch. It shows the day and date. It's accurate and well made. I believe, the movement is made by Seiko. So its quality is credible. The case and bracelet are solid for daily use. I never previously owned an Orient but did my research and decided to buy. Well worth it!

My favorite watch to wear right now! So comfortable, looks so great on the wrist, decent time retention especially if you wind it up enough. I feel like this was a great bargain. Would def purchase again if had to.

I am very pleased with this watch. I do wish the color of the face was a bit more bright, but the automatic movement works great, nice weight and looks great.

Ok, this is a serious watch, and I have many. The quality belies the price. I’m beyond impressed. I know Orient has a great reputation, now I get it. I have some very expensive watches. This holds its own. What a value. I will buy another.
