Cycliq DUO Mount::The Cycliq DUO Mount dual-purpose bike mount attaches your bike computer and camera or light to your handlebars. Made from aircraft grade 7075 aluminum, the Duo Mount is incredibly strong and weighs just 49.5 grams.

Mount does not account for Fly12 form factor
We use the mount for a Polar V650 bike computer and it works - but is pretty tight to fit. Hopefully that will loosen up. We are really glad Cycliq provides for so many bike computers, like the Polar.Only issue with this style of mount is you may need to tilt it back to be able to read the display on the bike computer in the sun. (Sure, racers will go aero and mount it flat, but people that actually use their bike computers want to be able to see them.) When tilted back, the mount will work fine with a GoPro, action cam, which is short front-to-back. But with the Fly12, you will run into trouble - as the Fly12 is long front-to-back and will conflict with the mount when set angled up too far.

Loose computer fitting
This mount works fine, but the Garmin mount fitting is sloppy so the computer is difficult to get and keep centered. I haven't had this issue with any other mount I've used (Garmin out front, standard Garmin, BarFly, or two different versions of K-Edge). The rest of the mount works fine—it holds a large Garmin plus Cycliq camera/light solidly without vibration and without slipping on the handlebars. But since holding your computer straight accounts for a big part of what a person wants a cycling computer mount to do, I've been disappointed.

Not all mounts equal
In general I like the Cycliq duo mount, except the optional mount disc for Cateye computers isn't any good. After about a week on the bike my Cateye took a fly after hitting a bump in the road. The Cateyes use a slide and snap- in type mount and the disc on the Cycliq isn't designed well, or else it's as good as it gets. Luckily I'm changing to a Garmin unit that mounts much the same way the Cycliq Fly 12 mounts.

Check your size.
This mount won’t work with the round area of Venge handlebars. The handlebars are ever-so-slightly too large. A longer screw wouldn’t work because the angle couldn’t get tightened enough. However, if your bar-diameter fits, this is an excellent mount. Very sturdy. Although it won’t fit, I’m still keeping it...maybe it will work on my next machine.

Doesn’t secure to handlebars and screw head sheared off.
I could not get this product to attach firmly to my handlebars even using thin rubber sleeves to aid traction. Once I did get a suitable sleeve in place, while tightening this with a Torque Wrench set to 2nm, the head of the screw sheared off and I was left with the item insecurely attached to my bike. As I could not get a hold of the screw to I tighten it with needle nose pliers, I ended up using a hacksaw to cut it off! This resulted in some scratches to my paint work. I’ll be returning this time for a refund! What a joke! The old Cycliq attachment with the two screws either side worked better; but I really wanted a dual mount to reduce handlebar clutter!!! This is a waste of a product and I am furious!

Snapped off at the hinge, common complaint
I did get 2 yearsand about 7k miles of good use out of this, but nearly lost my brand-new Garmin Edge 1030 Plus due to the mount snapping at the hinge. I expect more than 2 years of use and then catastrophic failure at this price point.

Not sure why this doesn't have a great rating-It is great!
This fits my road bike very well. It is sturdy and easy to mount. Seems more sturdy than the Garmin mount. My Garmin and Cycliq Fly12 fit perfectly. I don't necessarily care for the thumb screw to attach the bottom mount but if I switch to a GoPro, it would be a simple process. I am actually buying a second one for my gravel bike

The mounts don't even fit it's own product.
After the hinge snapped (after a lousy 2 weeks) on the mount the Fly12ce came with, I ordered the duo mount thinking it would at least be sturdier. Imagine my surprise after installing it when I found that NONE of the plastic mounts actually fit the damn camera. Instead, you are supposed to use the universal adaptor that came with the Fly12ce (now, where did I put it? Oh right, I don't remember because I didn't think I would need it...guess I'll be spending $16 to order ANOTHER one) with the "gopro" type slots on the underside of the mount. Great. Whyyyyyyyyyy would you design a product that doesn't fit your own stuff automatically?

Good in principle not so good in practice
The item seem very over priced for what it is.. although seems good quality metal. The fit is not easy on my bike bar had to add another rubber to get it to fit tight.. but the way the screw is small and not long, it is hard to get tight fit as need someone to clap it together to get screw to catch. Once on the bike I found the camera would move going over bumps etc as I go down canals, bridges which have cobbles.. so the camera will move and have to keep re-adjusting.. which for £60 I except not to happen. I just ordered another standard mount that came with the light as I don't use the Garmin that much.

Nice enough mount, but Cyliq Fly12 CE and Garmin Edge 520 don't like being so close
Hoped to use my Garmin Edge 520 and Cycliq 12CE on this mount. Physically, it works well, but Stages power meter readings are blocked when the Edge 520 and Fly 12CE are placed in close proximity to one another. Move the two units further apart and the readings are picked up again. Neither Cycliq or Garmin were able to help.

Brilliant piece of kit.
The astronomical price! Be aware the mount supplied with your £250 camera front light will break easily and the replacement is over £60 if you want to mount your Garmin as well. My choice to buy it, hence 2 stars, not 1.

does the job it is suposed to do...
I use this for my Garmin Edge and Cycliq 12ce. Works perfectly and tight fits etc... not sure what other reviewers are talking about.... pricey for what it is though...

Not suitable for the stresses that the weighty cycliq camera puts in the mount.
Poor product. I gave it 2 stars as it worked well up until the aluminium hinge failed. My cycliq camera went flying. He camera still works but it is now damaged and the lens cover keeps coming off.
