I was hoping this would be a bit better than it is. Our dog is a beautiful 5.5kg Lhasa Apso.It's ok, but we don't use it alot for the dog as she doesn't trust it not to move. It's just a bit lightweight and flimsy. The top level knocks off too easily. It is not great value for money in my opinion.We also have a ramp version that is full of foam and she is far happier trusting that one to take her weight. So my honest advice would be to buy one of those. If you search in the amazon bar for "high density foam dog ramp/stairs" you will get a good selection show up
