YOEMELY 6” Dome Port Transparent Diving Lens Case with Waterproof Housing, Dome Trigger, Protective Bag, Hand Grip for SJCAM SJ6 Legend, SJ7 Star

I was so excited to receive this dome for my SJ7 camera, I brought it down to Florida and was hoping to get some good manatee shots. However I was very disappointed to find that there was no way to switch from video to still shots without taking the camera out of the case. The normal SJcam waterproof case has a touch screen sensitive panel in back so you can have access to all camera functions. Also, you have to turn the camera on before inserting into the dome case, lots of wasted battery time. The whole thing was cumbersome and not practical in a wet environment to be opening and shutting the case for everything. Also, the dome came with no assembly instructions and wrapped in kitchen plastic wrap...might have been a return? Maybe these cases work better on a GoPro but for SJcam you are giving up too much in the way of functionality of the camera once it's in the dome. Sadly will be returning. It does look like a well made product though and if all the camera's functions were accessible this would probably be a 4 or 5 star review.
