I’m honestly blown away by how awesome this little umbrella is! As someone who’s always on the go, this is PERFECT. The day I received it, it was raining, so I got to use it right away—it came in super handy! The only way I think this could be improved is if there was a button that opens it all up for you to make it quicker and a button to close it up. I loved the size of this umbrella, and I really wanted to like it. However, upon opening it, there were multiple flaws that resulted in me returning it.CONS:- The overall design felt flimsy and not well-balanced.- The handle is very awkward and uncomfortable to hold. This may have contributed to the overall feeling of it not being well-balanced. I understand it contributes to how portable the umbrella is, but I think more thought could be put into it with better results, even if the length needed to be slightly longer.- It was difficult to close the umbrella and arrange it in such a way so that it all fit back together.- The edges of the ribs were sharp.- The claim that it is windproof. Admittedly, I did not test it out, but there is no way it would survive more than a gentle breeze.PROS:- Compact size, but at the expense of pretty much everything else.Keep looking, there are better options out there.

This mini travel umbrella is great! It is nice, lightweight, perfect size to put in the outside pocket of the bag I travel with. It is compact, strong, sturdy,It opens and closes easily too. It would also be great to use to block the sun if you want to use it for that sort of thing. I took this to Japan with me, and it rode in mine or my comrade's satchels most of the time. The lightweight is appreciated, and the small size is manageable.My friend used this on a day-trip which brushed against a typhoon. Strong winds inverted it a couple times, but it survived. That was more than I'd have guessed from the weight, and it troopered through the whole trip.Is it made to take the punishment, or shield multiple people from rain? No, it's small and unarmored against the rigors of the world. But as a "stuff-it-anywhere-just-in-case" umbrella, it excels.

Recent purchase, first time use on a rainy day, and the umbrella would not open had to physically force it open and even then when it opened it flipped inside out. The size was perfect for the need, poor performance and quality.
