It does work. I bought 2, but had to return one because one is bad (I think it's the battery problem). I used it for a while in the refrigerator. Recently took it out and put it with a purse inside a plastic bag trying to get rid of the moth balls smell. It does remove the smell in about one or two days. It's also nicely made, quality is very good except the battery. So I was a little worried it might die soon, so far so good. I couldn't remember how the lights indicators work, have to read the instructions after charging it.

I think it not only eliminated the odor it seem to make my veggie last longer in the refrigerator

purify? it doesnt even work, its been few months in my fridge. i think a lemon is better to work with the fridge. i give two stars, it is because it is really heavy, didnt want this kind of result. very disappointed. please dont waste your money
