Weather display is easy to use and has more available to view than I may use. It connects to Wunderground which I had never used. My son set this up for me and said setup was straight forward. The packing was amazing - everything was nicely packed in spaces just for those items. Reminded me of how Apple packs their products. I had a different weather station for 13 years and last year it just stopped being even close to accurate and the spiders loved it. This is attractive inside and outside. The inside display is not extremely bright so that it lights up a room at night, it is just right. I just ordered another one for a family member.

Update (Owned 8 months): outdoor weather station quit sending data. LED doesn't blink every 20 seconds even though it has been reset many times ( press reset 3 secs ). Tried removing 3 AA batteries and cover solar panels for 5 mins - no luck. Reset inside LCD screen, won't connect. It's a POS.BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND.Setup/install is easy. I wanted an affordable solar[-powered] weather center so I dont have to fiddle w/batteries. As it turns out, the outside weather station takes 3xAA batteries for some reason ( still confused ). After a few days, the inside screen shows that the outside station batteries are LOW. If this stupid setup relies on AA batteries as main power source to be changed weekly, I'll be replacing this soon and downgrading this review to one star. As it is, my recommendation:DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

This Weather station has many useful functions, screen could be a bit brighter, mostly the inside Temp. reading, I've been unable to connect to my 2.4 WiFi after dozens of tries, the WiFi icon continues to flash on the lower center part of the screen, don't know why it's flashing other than it must not be connected to my 2.4 WiFi.Edit: After a Telephone service Tech was here for 2 hours he was able to connect to my WiFi, when I open it up on my Desktop Computer or mobile it does not show any info, only says "Offline" for my Devices, wish someone could tell me how to get those Devices online.

If you don't have patience for technology this isn't for you. Managed to set it up and have it fully working. Communicates with the display no problem, forecast seems to work pretty decent since we've had snow here and high winds. Connecting to the two websites where it Wi-Fi sinks your data is a pain in the rear but for what it is it's not that complicated. Communicating with the weather station through router settings can be difficult if you're not computer savvy, You need some type of skills. For people who are worried about putting this thing all the way up on your roof for an accurate reading, that's not the case since I have mine on my back deck approximately 12 ft up and it reads pretty much the same as someone.8 mi down the road from me with theirs on their roof lol since you were going to have to change the batteries on this once in a while I want easier access to the station so in my particular situation this works for me. It is very nice to have all the data uploaded to the two websites so I can keep track of my station and of other stations around my area and where I used to live as well where my family still lives. I think for the money, is long as it works and it does what you need it to do I think it's a pretty good buy for what this particular unit does. Will it compare to other high-end models? Who knows this just works for me and my particular situation and I hope I get a long time with it so me and the family can enjoy what it's capable of doing. It's pretty neat having this out in your back deck when I remember being a kid having to watch the 5:00 news to know what the temperature was outside half of the time lol whoever does purchase this I hope they have luck in setting this up and enjoying what it can do cuz it's pretty cool

Installation manual is a bit unclear, but was easy to setup and install. They tell you how to connect to the wifi but not what you need to check or do first.The monitor needs to be plugged in and not on battery power for the wifi to work. Also register on the apps before setting up the wifi connection, otherwise you will be going back and forth.The weather station has been running for 4 days now and works great so far, love the data i can get from it.Definitely good value for the money.

The outdoor readout is very confused. It worked well the first three weeks. Then the outdoor temperature displayed 158 degrees. I followed reset instructions with no success! I contacted so called tech support and they said to rest it. All this was after the return period was over. I bought it the end of December and had until the end of January to return. All this began the first week of February. I am stuck with a broken unit. The company does not stand behind their work! Poor quality.
