After lots of comparing what was available, this has to be the best. Thick sturdy metal, but not heavy. Good handles. The 500 mm is exactly the right width for a good fire. We usually use five or six logs. The metal heats up and helps radiate heat. It's high enough off the ground to radiate heat down on your feet, so good in spring and autumn as well as a cold summer! So creates lots of good evenings in the garden. Good for toasting marshmallows on a fork too. It arrives in a nasty grey, so use some stove black grate polish. It rusts naturally and nicely, unless you want to keep waxing it. We leave it out, so drilled a ¼" hole in the middle, to drain rainwater. We'll just keep it in a shed in winter.
