I bought this pickup tool for my husband as he doesn't have to bend it every time any metal piece falls. He uses one of these tool kit items all the time. It is very useful. I bought this as his birthday present and he loved it. It's cheap, lightweight, and has a very good magnet. The toolkit comes with 5 parts: a torch light, 2 magnetic pickup rods, a telescope, and 2 inspection mirrors. They all come with a very nice battery we can use right away. These tools can reach into tight places and it's very useful especially with people having back issues. Very satisfied with the product and recommend it to others. It will be a great gift for men for Christmas and other occasions.

So happy with this tool kit, plan on buying more for the holidays!I originally bought this for my dad. He details cars in his spare time and one of the things I hear him complain the most about is not being able to see under seats and having a hard time picking things up in between the seats and center console. Although he uses a magnetic tool right now, it's no where near as versatile as this set.This set comes with 5 different tools, all extendable/retractable and all the batteries you will need1. small magnetic pickup rod2. larder magnetic pickup rod (able to hold up to 15 lbs!)3. round inspection mirror4. square inspection mirror with led light (batteries included)5. flexible neck led flashlight (batteries included)Tools are sturdy and have a good weight to them, making them feel durable. This 5 piece LED magnetic pickup tool kit was a gift my husband - here’s his review!- The kit comes in a decent cardboard box (9”x6”x 1 1/2” )with plastic insert for storage.- The 2” round mirror ( no light) extends to 28.5”. The mirror is connected via an adjustable ball joint.- The 2” x 3” rectangular mirror with LED lights will extend to 34.5”. The mirror is connected via an adjustable ball joint. Requires two CR2032 batteries (included).- The pick-up magnet extends to 30.5”. The magnet itself measures 0.75” in diameter and is quite strong.- The telescopic LED light extends to 22.5”, it is magnetized at BOTH ends, requires four LR44 batteries (included) and the light is mounted on a 2.5” long flexible section allowing the light to be bent as much as 135 degrees in any direction. Although it has a pocket clip(removable), its minimum length is 7”.- Lastly, the kit contains a ball-point pen size telescoping magnet with pocket clip which extends from 5” to 25.5”- The two mirrors and the big magnet all have rubber handles for good grip in greasy conditions.- Overall, I think this is quite a good kit. I’m pleased to have it in my tool collection. My only complaint is that I would rather have the telescoping LED light powered by a single AAA battery to save the cost of battery replacement. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Anyone who does much work at all using screws, bolts, small metal objects knows how easy it is to drop something in the most inconvenient place. The variety of sizes and strengths of these magnetic pick-up tools is very useful. The set comes with two different style extendable mirrors to see into tight places, a flashlight with an extendable magnet on the opposite end of the light, and a strong magnet which can handle a lot of weight for its size. There is also what I would call a pocket or shirt pocket-sized extendable magnet which would be easy to carry around like a pen.In the video I have included you can see the large magnet easily lifting up a heavy staple gun - I weighed the staple gun and it was almost 2 lbs. While the weaker magnet on the flashlight could not life the staple gun by itself, it can be used to balance a heavier load as I show in the video.For the price I don't think you can beat it. The pieces feel well-made, and should last. Would I use this in an auto body shop, probably not as there are stronger magnets made for that kind of work, but for the home shop, or around the house in general, definitely.

GO GO Gadget Magnifier! This is a great kit sure to please. It has something for everyone. No more destroying your garage when you drop a bolt. With so many options in this kit you will definitely be able to retrieve it with ease. The magnets and flashlights have extendable and flexible shafts to adjust and maneuver into those hard-to-reach places. This unit comes packaged very well and would make a great gift for the “hard-to-buy-for” person in your life. The kit is just asking to be put to work. We are planning to order a couple of these sets to have on hand for xmas stocking stuffers, or last minute gifting options. Anyone would love to get this set! As a bonus, each of the tools comes with the required batteries.

I wanted a light and mirror for working on my car. I was changing the plugs on my Honda Odyssey. The plugs on the backside of a transverse engine can be a pain, having the lighted mirror made it easier to see what I was doing and the magnet was handy for dropped metal parts or tools. They seem a little flimsy, but time will tell. I'll up date in about 6 months to go over how they are holding up.P.S I liked them well enough to give a set to each of my sons.

This is a nice set. I have trouble bending down to pick up my dropped bolts and even works perfectly for picking up even heavy socket wenches when I am working on my car and motorcycle due to my bad back. The magnet is strong and the light is clear also the length is helpful. I have not had this set that long but I have used them and I don't see how they would not stand up to regular use.
