If you aren't making connections all the time you need this product. I spent hours making connections for my security system and it seems like half the time the connections didn't work. This was after I slaved to get the wires in the proper order. I then switched to this product and all my issues went away. Being able to see the order of the wires once they were pulled through the connector meant that I never had another failure.

there's very little to go wrong here. you simply purchase a larger lot of these pass throughs, to avoid paying too much at the big box stores.you can't go wrong with these.

Bought several brands form amazon but they all fail. Been installing cabling for over 30 years. If you want to use pass-through style connectors buy major brand like Kline or Ideal. They work and are reliable I know they are a lot more costly but I've tried a number of cheaper brands and the failure rate is above 95%. I do wish there was a lower cost brand that was reliable but so far unable to find one. The pass through design is a great idea but for now we will stick with the old standard RJ45 connectors. Maybe if there are enough bad reviews for these connectors the MFG will improve their products.

Really easy to use, a lot less waste that when I tried to line up wires in the blind connectors. So far have performed well.

This RJ45 connector works best when you use it with the Platinum tools crimper. Out of the thousands of connectors I primped over the last 10 years I've never had a failure on the connector. I've used other connectors that make claims of Being a true RJ45 pass through connector, but end up failing within 5 years. The standard for RJ45 connectors says that the connector should last 25 years. These are the connectors that I trust, and these will be the connectors that I use.

They were a lot easier to work with then expected. They are a small area to slide the cables through but there are a few tricks that I found that made them easier.

There are many like them. These ones are mine. I like passthrough because I'm old & feeble, this gives me another chance to check the wire order before the Big Crimp.

After re-terminating the same cable for the 4th time, I tried a different set of heads that I had purchased and they worked fine the first time. These don't seat properly making for a bad connection and waste of time. Do not buy these unless you want to waste your time.
