Re-engineered mount much more substantial
The "newly re-engineered" 2021 handlebar mount (on left) is much more substantial, ditches the hinge of the original, and is currently doing the trick to replace my cracked one that came with the camera. One demerit for only providing one, way too thick, rubber shim which limits the mount to one of two handlebar sizes. Fingers crossed.

Redesigned Version Better
The older version had a plastic hinge that broke under normal use. This version is a two piece design and is much more sturdy under the twisting required to install/uninstall the Fly unit.

Improved on the old weaknesses.
They eliminated the weak hinge in favor of two bolts on either side. Looks much more robust than the old style.

Pricey but good
The quarter turn lock is the selling point. Can also use on rear seat post (that's how I'm using them).

Very flimsy design, shamefully over-priced
I have broken four of these to date. Two broke during installation / adjustment (and yes, despite how ridiculous the requirement seems, I did use a torque wrench to install). The plastic part of the hinge is very flimsy, and does not seem to cope with the stresses induced by installation / tightening. The other two broke during rides, causing my Fly12 CE to fall on the road, damaging the light housing as a result.Cycliq has a real dog of a product here - I have run many lights on my bikes over the years, with many different kinds of mounts, and this is up there with the very worst of the mounting HW I have used. And don’t get me started on the price...Please, please, please fix this product Cycliq.

Fragile. Hinge breaks easily.
Not strong enough for the fly 12. Two of these have broken at the hinge in the last 2 months. I guess if you charge in place, maybe they survive, but I take the fly 12 off the bike to charge, and the hinge does not seem to withstand the torque of the twist. They need to have screws on both sides.

Garbage! Gone through 3 in a year.
DO NOT BUY! If I could go back in time I would have not bought the Cycliq Fly 12 simply because of the mount. And it is impossible to find a aftermarket mount. So your stuck with their crap. I’ve gone through 3 in a year. This one broke 30 miles into its maiden voyage. For the cost it should be made of aluminum.

Garbage product
Garbage product. This is the second one I have and it broke after 4 months. Cycliq does not stand behind their products!

Disappointing- Flimsy/brittle mount for a premium Cycling Light.
This item, while designed for a premium expensive cycling light appears to be poorly designed and constructed from plastic is brittle. Subsequently, this item snapped as soon as you try to fit the light/camera to the mount as it does not withstand the twisting force you have to apply to connect this.Disappointing!

Relief
Bought the mount based on the photoSo placed an order, then read the reviews.Which were I assume, based on the MK 1,Which was a flimsy hinged affair, which I managed to destroy trying to install it.So it was with relief when the mount turned up it was the new improved MK 2 mount.Cycliq actually sent me this type of mount about a year ago, when I destroyed not one but two of the MK1 mount .So I’ve had this type of mount on my other bike for about year with no problems.

Didn't even survive the install
Tried to fit it on my Specialized Roubaix and the hinge joint snapped before I'd even managed to fit the camera. Now struggling to figure out how you're actually meant to be able to fit this camera/light with it's proprietary connector and sub-par mounts. Going to try the Universal Adapter and a standard Garmin mount.

Dont buy if you have thick bars...
Useless, broke. You have to use the provided rubber seal as without it (even with taped bars) it doesnt tighten fully and slips, using supplied rubber seal makes it too thick so it wont fit thicker/tapped bars. This ended up snapping at weakest point (small hinge) when being fitted. So dont waste money on this (its same one that comes with the Fly12) instead buy the Duo Mount (see below), same dimentions as the plastic one, fits and stays in place on same taped bars with no issues and hasn't moved yet (again it has the same dimentions as the plastic one), uses the gopro mount that comes with the Fly 12 to gold the light and also holds range of bike computers (interchangable mounts)!Search for Cycliq Duo Mount, 31.8mm Aluminium Handlebar Mount for Bike Computers

Deutlich verbessert
Die Vorgängerversion war einfach nur Schrott. Diese neue Halterung ist wesentlich robuster und hält jetzt schon ein paar Monate (ca. 1.000km) trotz dem Gerüttel auf Kopfsteinpflaster.
