Sand just falls off of it!
Love the size of this thing. Took it to the beach for my grandson to have his own play area and was able to put his tent on top of it, all of his sand toys & his chair! Plus still had enough room for him to lay down and sleep on it. Great purchase!

Decent Beach blanket, but gets very hot!
While the aesthetic of the beach blanket is lovely, and it does keep sand from getting everywhere it gets extremely hot on the beach in the sun.

Nice but so light it will blow away if not anchored down
I love the size of this ground cover. It really helps define the space. It is not at all soft so bring a towel or other blanket to put on top of it for comfort. I would have included u shaped anchors as that would keep the blanket in place way easier than the l shaped anchors. Just pick some u shaped anchors up in the camping section and all will be well.

Durable, easy to shake sand off, for 1-2 people, sand falls thru on outer edges
The middle material is solid where sand can’t pass thru. The edges have tiny holes like a sand sifter where if sand gets on the edges it will fall thru. So it works unless sand gets in the middle. I should’ve gotten a bigger size as this is only comfortable for barely two people. I was looking for something that sand could fall thru the material anywhere on the blanket/mat but had a hard time finding it. It is definitely durable and easy to clean/shake off the sand. So it worked pretty well for us.

Lightweight and well... Blue.
I do like the color of this thing. A nice bright blue that I love while on the beach. This thing is light and easy to fold but since it's light, you'll notice that while the fabric pretty much keeps dry, it does seem like you could rip it along the seams if you tried hard enough... or if a scrawny kid got really mad and grabbed it. It comes with anchor points which while not that useful for the beach, might be better suited for camping (which I do not do)... and so I promptly lost them on my first outing at the beach (I should have left them at home). Oh well.Overall, this is a useful addition to any beach trip... although I did get envious of those who had mats that could prop up so they could hit up but hey, at least I could bring it around in it's folder smaller form.

Stakes don’t work in beach sand.
The wind will blow it away unless you put something heavy on it. Need sand stakes something larger designed for sand and maybe colorful to easily see. Lost a stake at the beach.

Great beach blanket
We just started using this at the beach and we love it. It is lightweight and you can push the sand right off of it. The mesh sides keep sand from blowing onto the mat. The steaks work if the wind isn't too strong. A lot of people have stopped and commented on it. It is nice not to have to carry our old heavy beach blanket anymore!

Overall CampMe was worth the purchase.
CampMe was big enough to place two beach towels on for my kids. It allowed them a place to put things to keep everything from getting sandy without getting their beach towels sandy. Our towels stayed un-sandy all week. I thought the side mesh was double netted for allowing sand to go down but not up, but it was not. It cleans easily. After a storm, We put it on our balcony, and the wet sand just fell off after it dried. Drying time was extremely short and it was fully clean. Sand will come up through the netting, but it will also fall back through. Overall CampMe was worth the purchase. Only change I would make is the netting. But the netting would not keep me from purchasing again.
