We bought 2. My son had one 1st. It looks good, easy to use, heats up the rug in about 10 mins. Makes the room much warmer. We bought one. Easy rolls out. We put under carpet underlay underneath and rug on top. Works well. We bought a guarante. Hopefully it works all winter! Highly recommended

I don’t know if it’s my rug that’s the problem but I can hardly feel the warmth of this rug buddy at all. It stops my feet being freezing on the floor but only just. Disappointing for the price paidEdited: After moving home I currently use the rug buddy between carpet and rug and it works much better. Have added a star. My cats love it! Previously I think I was using it without an underlay which I should not have done.

Excellent piece of sensible and economical problem to freezing cold floors and cold feet.I have a bridging type property which means although the roof is well insulated and the heating inside is adequate, below ankle level can be like an ice rink when cold winter winds blow underneath. I had long been looking for a solution and this is perfect. It works rather like an under electric blanket on a bed. I used underlay over my laminate floor as advised and then laid my tufted black carpet over it and completely concealed it.With the aid of a timer it comes on at 6pm until midnight and within 15 minutes the floor is so warm and comfortable. Even through house slippers you can feel the warmth and of course if you want kick them off and feel the warmth direct. No more watching TV with feet on a hot water bottle!! I believe it to be very economical at 180 wats only. Not much more than a light bulb but I will wait to see my electricity bill at a later date. I thoroughly recommend this item to anyone who has the same problem as I had. I have a friend who has a conservatory with the same problem and he is going to get one also. Good sensible solution to cold feet which can make you feel very uncomfortable during cold winter months.

Well perhaps not life changing but it has made my office a more enjoyable place to be rather than freezing. Cheap to run and it certainly has made a difference and I would certainly recommend.

Heats alright but keeping a light weight mat on is waste of time. Keeps moving off the heated pad. Would not recommend, especially for that price. Very disappointed!
