Decent product for the price.
The price is good currently but other Draper buyers may be disapointed with the quality compared to other Draper products. My concern is that the manufacturers box is unsuitable for carrier delivery. Mine was burst at one end, possibly dropped or thrown about with the result of a broken on/off switch housing. This is absolutely no fault of the seller here and they went the extra mile to solve this for me.The overall quality is true to price. Having said that it was very easy to assemble but make sure you have a cloth and some white spirit available to clean down parts, especially the chuck and shaft. All parts are well protected with oil. Full assembly took around 20 mins and everything worked fine. In comparison to other workshop power tools this drill very quiet. Everything was aligned correctly with no visible run-out with even the longest spade drill. Unlike another user review there is a holding spot for the chuck key on the top right of the guard housing. So, it all works well and does the job and is worth the price for hobby users. I am just a bit miffed that my new drill has to have had some superglue and duct tape treatment to the switch housing.

Wrong height. it's 58cm overall height
A nice little hobby drill, sturdily built and reasonably quiet. I was quite annoyed to find the product height quoted on the Amazon page was wrong. It's not 48 cm tall, it's 58cm, which means it doesn't fit under my bench as I hoped it would. I would advise any purchasers to inspect the drive pulleys for any dirt or swarf before starting the machine. I found that the swarf from the drilling and tapping of the grub screw had not been cleaned away. The spindle and chuck runs true and I have bored 18mm holes through thick plywood without any struggle. The drill table is quite roughly finished, possibly intentionally to give better grip to the surface when clamping. Judging by the cirular scratches it looks like they used concentric milling to finish the surface so at least it is very flat. It doesn't have a clip to hold the chuck key so I have used a couple of magnets to hold it in place. The finish is good and the metal surfaces are protected with greased paper for transit. When assembled it all looks true and square but it is worth checking the table before drilling.

Good machine for hobby work
Only using it to drill wood and it’s powerful enough for what I need. It’s heavy and sturdy and is reasonably quiet.

Broken
Delivered broken and dented! Packaging was in great condition though, looked like I'd got someone's return! Awaiting a replacement and will amend my review when received.

No power at all
The media could not be loaded. I got this for light work for just drilling straight holes in wood using 6mm to 10mm which worked OK. I wanted to try it with a 70mm holesaw to drill wood so I decided to buy a brand new holsaw and arbour so there was no excuses. It vibrated really badly and just stopped not even a quarter of the way through (see video). It's the worst thing I have ever bought, totally useless, if it can't drill wood what can it do. It has no power at all! My advice is spend a bit more and get something that works because I know there's a lot of rubbish with the same power out there that I'm sure will be as bad. Avoid
