Victor Enamelled Chestnut Roaster, Steel, Black, 57x15.5x5 cm

Great item for toasting chestnuts on a winters night

Brought 2 of these for our holiday cottages. They seem pretty sturdy and have quite a long handle, so you dont burn yourself. Look like they will do the job but haven't tested them quite yet !

This is a well made traditional roasting pan. Sat on fire perfectly and tbe chestnuts after 5 mins were yummy. The pan is very strong and well made. A good purchase

Does the job. I think it could be deeper (less shallow) to help keep the chestnuts in more reliably. But maybe I’m just lacking the required skill when I jostle them. That aside, it feels solid and seems to do the job fine. Happy with purchase. Delivery was ahead of schedule too.

Very reasonably priced; I almost purchased one from a shop that was three times the price; glad I didn't; this does the job!

Although not a large pan to sit the chestnuts on it is very well made.I can roast about twelve chestnuts in one go.It withstands the heat of our open coal fire and roasts the chestnuts really well.I'm very happy with this purchase which I think will last for years.

This chestnut roaster arrived in good time, although when starting to open up the packaging it seemed as though it would not be up to the job as it was so light. Not a bit of it. Once out of the packaging, it is well balanced and well designed. It is possible to balance the whole thing in our wood burner, but we found it was safer to rest the end of the handle on a couple of logs. I would recommend it to someone - in fact I have bought one as a Christmas present.

Brilliant little roaster, handle is long enough to keep hands away from the fire, however it would be useful to have a lid as rotating the chestnuts is a bit tricky whereas having a lid would prevent them from rolling out so often.
