High Contrast Toys for Newborn, Infant Black and White Toy 0-6 6-12 Months, Tummy Time Toys, Soft Crinkle Baby Books for Newborn Brain Development

I got this for my SIL who is expecting her first baby. This is a great little toy set for any newborn. The contrast is sure to keep them interested, the fabric and stitching feel durable and the crinkly sounds are sure to delight. The little blanket has a tether attached and the “book” can be attached to the sides of a crib. Everything feels well made and I have no doubt it will last through the baby’s first year and beyond.

My daughter had a black and white mobile back in the day. It is supposed to be good for an infant’s vision. I think this would make a great baby shower gift. Both are small and lightweight, but that makes it easier for a young child to handle, and to tie to a stroller, car seat, or shopping cart. Of course, it can also be tied to a cradle or crib rails. The included 10” square has a ‘teething’ ring attached. The ring is somewhat bendable, but not actually very soft. Still, a child might like to chew on it. It also makes it able to attach to a link chain and to a stroller, etc., so it doesn’t fall out. The square has crinkle material inside, so makes a crinkly sound. It is double sided, so there are many images to look at. The long strip is very light, flexible, and double sided. There is a squeaky ball inside that travels all along the length. I might consider stitching along the divides between each square frame to quarantine that squeaky ball, and perhaps firm it up. It accordion folds into a square, as you can see in the box. It’s nice to have the box to wrap as a gift.

Our niece loves this toy. We've used similar products in the past and babies love to grasp the edges of the panels and crumple them. It's a simple toy that makes them the most happy. The contrast on the panels is exactly as pictured, and I found the build quality to be quite good.

This baby toy comes with two separate items. One is a flat mat that makes a crinkle sound when handled. There are 9 distinct images on each size, plus there is a teether attached. I thought the other item would be bound like a book, but instead it can be unfolded and it show 5 more images on each side. There are ribbons sewn in. The only pieces of extra fabric are on the sailboat. This toy can do a lot for a baby. There's the different textures they can feel, there's the crinkle sound, and there are a lot of images. It's lightweight enough that babies can easily pick it up. The construction is very good and so this will probably last through more than one baby's use.

Great for new littles! Even my 1.5 year old likes them lol. Lost of contrasting images, and the crinkle toy was a nice touch. They are not sturdy enough to stand up on their own, so just keep that in mind! They stay up well when propped against a firm pillow or wall.

This book is perfect for small babies. The high contrast will grab their attention, and the crinkly texture will interest them even as they get older. My two year old was even having fun with this book! The pictures are clearly printed and there are ribbons in there too which is a nice touch.

Simple, useful high-contrast toy for newborn babies. Soft enough to play with when they start to grab. Very stimulating, especially during "tummy-time".

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these. They have a crinkly sound which is a plus. It also comes with little strings so you can tie it to the inside of the crib.
