My grandson had always used one of the life jacket type vests when in the pool. This served him well but we noticed it didn't really allow him to get into a correct position to start swimming. So we purchased the back float.Worth every penny. Immediately he put it on he was able to float, so remained confident in the water and he could also easily get into a horizontal position to start doing strokes.You can adjust the number of floats to best suit your child's confidence and abilities and within two days he had learnt to swim. On the second day he removed the floats and swam half a width. He then went back to floats to just mess around safely in the pool. So a great investment allowing an easier transition to become a swimmer.

Amazing
I brought this for my 7 year old non swimmer to go on holiday - we used to use arm bands but most of them were up to age 6 and they are annoying on his arms so I thought we would try this. He was a little funny about wearing it at first but as soon as he got into the pool and realised how much freedom the floats gave himTo swim and have fun he loved them! Every couple of days we took a float off and on the last day he swam completely without it! His 4 year old sister also used it! It definitely helped him learn how to swim much quicker then armbands. I definitely recommend!!! :)

Perfect holiday float
Bought for my 7 year old. She can swim short distances without anything but I wanted her to be safe in the busy swimming pool on holiday. She also feels too old to wear arm bands. This float fit her perfectly and was used daily for hours over a 10 day holiday. It is still in great condition and will be taken on our next holiday in a couple of months. We found the width of the band could loosen relatively easily once fastened but once we fastened/wrapped the belt round the mechanism a couple of times we found it stayed at the desired width. Would buy again.
