Small but mighty
I bought the JBL Go 4 speaker as a Christmas gift for my sister, and it turned out to be a hit! She loves listening to music wherever she goes, so this compact and portable speaker was the perfect choice.Sound Quality: The JBL Pro Sound is impressive for such a small device! It delivers clear audio with rich bass that easily fills a room or works great outdoors. My sister keeps raving about how powerful it sounds despite its size.Battery Life: The 7-hour playtime is a huge plus. She’s used it for hours at a time, and the PlaytimeBoost feature is perfect for getting a little extra when needed.Durability: My sister often takes it to the beach and park, and the IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating gives her peace of mind. It’s handled water splashes and sand without any issues.Portability: The integrated carabiner is a clever touch. She’s attached it to her backpack, and it’s always within reach wherever she goes.Design: I got her the pink version, and it’s stylish and vibrant. She loves the color and how durable it feels with its plastic and metal design.Overall, this was the perfect gift for someone who loves music and being on the go. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a thoughtful, practical present!

Great sound range for a portable speaker
Looks great, clear and precise sound with app-based equaliser. Really impressive sound for something so compact. Easy to connect via Bluetooth and, if you have more than one of them, you can sync them to create a mini-surround sound system! Great value for money.

Don’t Worry!
Bought to quickly replace a much more expensive JBL that was lost.Wow! Excellent value, great sound - at least for indoors, not quite pumping BBQ volumes but certainly not bad. Pocket sized, easy to carry, definitely recommend it.

great sounds from this diminutive speaker
It was a toss up between this and the Bose bout this one won out in part due to its usb C charging port the other being its construction.I wanted a small BT speaker to put next to or under my pillow so I could fall asleep listening to radio dramas/audiobooks etc and this little speaker has exceeded expectations.A charge lasts for a couple of nights or more, the sound quality is excellent with the bass just right and not overblown, the mids and highs are crisp making human voice recordings a joy to listen to but stick some led zeppelin through it and it rocks! The app is basic but does the job, offering a few different eq settings including a custom eq setting and the ability to use two of these at once and connect them wirelessly as a stereo pair!I anything happened to mine I’d buy another without hesitation.

Great, but battery life isn’t what they claim it is.
Great product, loud for the size of it, light and compact.I would definitely recommend buying it but I had to give it 4 stars because their is no way the battery lasts for 7 hours, its 4 max.

Very Impressive
We needed a new Bluetooth speaker to take on holiday to take with us on days out and for music in our hotel room. I was initially looking at the JBL Clip 5 and the Go 4. I liked the Clip 5 for its in-built carabiner, but several reviewers commented that due to the design the Clip 5 can only be laid down on a surface or attached to something with its carabiner. I liked the Go 4 because it can be be laid down or stood up on its own. The built-in loop can only really be used if you supply your own carabiner, which is what I did. So I decided to purchase the Go 4. I also purchased the more expensive Soundcore Motion 300. That is undoubtedly a better speaker. It has a far better overall sound quality, but it is also bigger and surprisingly heavy, and to be honest I did notice it in my rucksack. So it got a little tiresome, so that ended up staying in our hotel room. But more and more we just used the Go 4 for everything, and stopped using the Soundcore. The Go 4 has a really balanced sound. There isn't the depth of bass that you would get from a larger speaker, but it does definitely have a nice amount of bass and 'warmth' to its sound. It's very light, so you can put it in or attach to a rucksack and you will not notice the extra weight. The "JBL Portable" app is definitely worth getting if you want to adjust the EQ settings. I found the default "JBL Signature" EQ setting to be the best. The app also provides firmware updates for the device which are definitely worth applying. This speaker was supplied with firmware 0.4. When I installed the app it updated the speaker to 0.5.3. I also created a stereo pair using a friends Go 4, and that also had a really nice sound and gave good stereo separation, but I'm not sure I would purchase two of these to get that feature. I've found the sound quality has improved now that the speaker has been used for a few weeks, so I think the firmware upgrade and a period of 'running in' is required to get the best out of it. So, overall a really great speaker that has surprised me far more than I expected it to.
