These look so nice. They're sturdy, I definitely won’t have any bent teeth. They are smooth everywhere and work great.I highly recommend if you never want to buy new combs again. These will last forever!

My preferred type of brush is boar's hair combined with nylon, like the one side of the brush in this set, or at least I think it's boar's hair. Unfortunately, the description doesn't specify what the bristles are made of. That being said, they look like boars hair and seem to accomplish the same effect. The nylon bristles help grab all the hair instead of just brushing the top layer, which is great because my hair is really thick. I use the side without the nylon to smooth down the top layer. The comb is also pretty nice. It doesn't seem like it would be durable but hasn't broken yet. I love that these are all made of wood instead of plastic. I keep the comb and the brush in my desk at work so it's good that they are both small. Not sure what the little comb with the big teeth on one side is for though, perhaps that is a type of tool that is used on hair types other than mine. I almost can't believe that this set is only $6 and feel like that's a really great deal. I would recommend!

This brush set is good quality and I like the bamboo material. Works well for "slick back" hair styles and the bristles are super soft. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because I think you only need one bamboo brush and the boar bristle style one to get a good hairstyle.

I have straight hair but as I've gotten slightly older and I've abused my hair with dye and heat, it has a tendency to get a little frizzy. I decided to try this set to try and manage the fly aways that happen near my part. The comb set is wooden which I like. I have fine hair so I don't have problems with comb teeth breaking in my hair but I did pull on the comb teeth and they had good flexibility but seemed strong. I ran it over the desk a few times trying to break the teeth and they still held up well. The teasing brush bristles are actually how I tame my fly aways, I lightly spray hair spray and then use the brush to lightly lay the unruly strands down in to the still tacky spray. Worked as intended.

Wooden combs are ok, but I purchased for the bristle comb and the bristles all fall out when you use it.

This is a wonderful brush/comb set for teasing and taming. I don't always have a ton of time to do my hair in the morning, so I often opt for a quick tease at the roots and hair spray. I love that this set allows me to get my morning routine done quickly and effortlessly.
