Doesn't work unless you are willing to risk electric shock.
Absolute trash. One of the lights doesn't work at all. The other only works if I only plug it into the outlet halfway and leave it dangling from the socket. That is definitely not the sign of a functioning product. One of the remotes works, I guess. It did turn the half-outlet unit off but it didn't seem to ever change any light patterns or colors. The light patterns that it did show are terrible. They range from incessant fast blinking to incessant faster blinking - they do not sync to music at all. The blink rate never changes no matter what song I play along with it. I will say, it gives off a pretty strong light show so if you happen to get lucky and get a working one, don't mind risking electrical shock and are okay with the seizure-inducing light patterns this item could work for you.

Dance floor lighting
We purchased these for a wedding without reading the size. They were pretty small (about the size of a softball) not including the adjustable base. Despite them being small they still did a pretty good job and lit up the dance floor!

I bought this party light for my kids to sing karaoke at home. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product. The disco ball strobe light is bright and beats/sync to music. The strobe light colors are bright and creates a festive and fun vibe.
