Rugged Equipment QuadLock Belt Loop - Black

It's strong and well made but the way it attaches to the pouch is a fail! It snaps on to a round stud on the back of the pouch. There's 4 notches at 90 degrees apart on the stud to lock it in position. On the belt loop clip there's a small nib that's suppose to lock in the notch but it's too small. You just rub against something and the pouch spins. Sometimes when I come home, I find my pouch is upside down! Good thing the magnet on flap is strong or would have lost my phone. Tried to cut the notch deeper on the stud and bend the clip out on the belt loop but it's still the same, so the problem is the nib on the clip. Had the same problem with the clip that came with the pouch too!

The clip needs to be lowered on the belt loop so the metal tab doesn't poke you in the side when bending to the side you are wearing it on, but other than that it is a really good clip.

Wish rugged still made phone pouches.

The actual holster that I am using these for is holding up very well, which I cannot say the same for these clips. Am currently on my 3rd one, averaging about 3 months per clip before the leather begins tearing away from the rivets. It is a poor design and I cannot see what the purpose of the leather between the two metal parts of the clip is for. If the two metals parts were riveted together directly this problem would be solved, but would most likely cause the metal piece on the case itself to separate instead. Also these are supposed to lock the holster in 1 of 4 positions, but doesn't lock it into any position at all. The slots in the case portion appear to be substantial enough, but the male counterpart on the clips appears to be too small to firmly lock in.

This will work with any belt up to 2 1/4 inches wide. Well constructed like all Rugged equipment. Will not chew up your belt like the spring clip that comes with the phone case. Fits any Rugged phone case that uses the stud mount (and that's all of them, as far as I know.)

my phone holster has this clip on it, and I love it. I have another piece of equipment that needed this type of clip, and was thrilled to find it. it's very well-made, and was a very good price.

Original case comes with a belt clip. I wanted something a little more secure. This belt loop clip met the challenge.

Nice item - My husband loves it. He is so hard on things and wears them out so fast. Rugged holds up to the abuse.
