Magnetic Pen Kit (5-Pack, Gun Metal)

Pen came with all the parts needed to turn. All my ink refills were dead. This uses pilot g2 refills which work great but are more magnetic. The cap grabs onto the point when you cap it. The tip scratches easily from the cap. Everyone really likes these pens, despite them being very large in diameter. It’s like writing with a sharpie. If they were a few mm thinner this would be my everyday pen. I’m on the fence about ordering more. I blew out 2 blanks trying to shave them down a bit in attempt to make the middle concave and more comfortable. Good buy overall since they really make a statement when done well.Update. Bought a second kit. No drill bit included with that. The included Ink refills did work on the 3 I’ve made, so that’s a plus. It’s a cool pen and uses standard g2 refills. No plastic pieces to break and it’s fun to play with. Difficult to drill blanks cleanly with this. I found it works best if I drill with a smaller diameter but first, then with the larger bit. No figment issues since I switched to this method.

Beautiful pen kit! I’ve made two of these so far (kept one for myself:) and love the fact that it displays such a large pen blank. Quality product, packaging, and instructions. The magnetic cap is definitely a nice feature. The pen in the picture was made with Bocote wood.

These kits make up into a very nice pen with magnetic cap. Good quality metal finishing. Good value. Good all the way around. Mine were gun metal finish and they look good with dark colored barrels. Have fun! You have e 5 to experiment with!

Great kit! Great price! The kit is very similar to the Zen pen kit, with a unique Crooked Mill clip. The price is very affordable for a rollerball pen kit and includes the appropriate bushings and drill bit.

Pen writes and feels good I just wish it looked better.

Magnetic lid sits crooked and 4 of the 5 pens won't write. I had to order refills before I could use them
