We used this to drag Timber out of the woods....that had been damaged by Hurricane Helene. Easy to use and effective. It did fray and you will have to use gloves when it starts to fray or you will mess your hands up. I would still buy it again, and just use it until it might eventually break or fray to the point of no return. Started fraying after about 10-15 hours of dragging some large Pines.

Very easy to use a more than sturdy enough.

First day out I used it several times and was pretty happy, but then the cable snapped. I am sure I was below the 2.5 ton rating. Went back to my old chain choker, which is harder to get off the logs, but it pulled the same tree just fine, no breakage. Fortunately it appears Amazon is taking this back and issuing a refund.For lighter loads I think it would be a good tool, but beware pulling big logs!
