I've been using this adapter for about a week now in my 2022 Subaru Outback. It was very easy to setup and so far it's been nearly flawless. On occasion it will take a bit longer to boot and connect, but it's only a few extra seconds. Nothing significant. Otherwise it is very responsive and works just like wired CarPlay.

This was a replacement for another product that stopped working. Easy to understand connections and was up and running within a few minutes. It continues to connect very quickly compared to my previous car play adapter. Plus, this is only about half the size of the previous one and it tucks nicely out of the way. It is a great way to add wireless car play without a significant cost.

My car has CarPlay, but I need to use a wire. A few years ago, I bought a Bluetooth CarPlay adapter, and it worked okay. Was a bit slow to connect. But the worst part was that on long trips, it would overheat and lag or stop working, which happened at all the worst times when you need to use the GPS.This is a different brand with brand new tech. It has both WiFi and Bluetooth connections. Using the WiFi allows you to update the firmware on it. Using Bluetooth is all you need to get CarPlay working.This new dongle connects my phone to the CarPlay much quicker than the other dongle. I will admit I had trouble at first getting the sound to come through the car, but after disconnecting the Bluetooth from the car, it started working just fine.I’m very pleased with the performance thus far. I haven’t been on a long trip, but after 45 minutes, it didn’t even feel warm, so I’m feeling pretty good about it.I was pleasantly surprised that it came with the USB to USB-C adapter, and even more pleasantly surprised that it came with mounting tape so I didn’t have to let the dongle dangle.Assuming I don’t start getting performance problems after long drives, this is worthy of 5 stars. I’ll update my review if that changes.

Connect it to your vehicle (usb or usb-c), pair it to your device, and go. The setup was that easy and only takes a minute or two. It is small and comes with an adhesive strip, so you can mount it some where inconspicuous if you choose. There is a slight (maybe 1 second) delay in response time when using your vehicle touch screen delay, but it’s well worth it to not have to pull your phone out of your pocket and plug it in every time.

The CarPlay device worked great for 2 and a half weeks. Then the device stopped pairing. I don’t know if it failed due to the obsessive heat in the northeast but whatever I tried, the device diode would keep blinking and not connect. It fell within the first 30 days refund policy so I was able to return it without a problem.

The product was an easy plug and play. I would recommend this product for those that don’t have CarPlay. It easy to use and was delivered quickly.

It works so well on my pioneer car stereo I no longer have to plug it in with the wire which was inconvenient now it’s just easily connects to my stereo. Highly recommend this unit!
