Good brand
Recommended by an Asheville, NC, quilt shop. I prefer this brand and size for hand quilting with cotton Gutermann thread. The eye of the needle is large enough for me to insert thread without having to use a needle threading tool.

I love these needles, I do use them for embroidery, but also to bind quilts. The larger eye makes them very user friendly.
