Very Good BUT with a Possible Problem!
The tags are relatively substantial and the bright color (significantly different from the bags) makes the luggage somewhat easier to identify. The cables are quite strong. The tag is the perfect size for holding business cards (or ID cards of that size). The only negative so far is that the clear plastic sheet over the information card can work loose. To this point, that has only meant two edges of the sheet needed to be pushed back into place, but with rough handling, the sheet and the card beneath could get lost. Our luggage has built-in ID tags as well, so there is redundancy if the worst happens to these tags.

TUFFTAAG - Neon Green
TUCFTAAG arrived on time for my trip. I did not trust the wire cables that came with the tags so I purchased a set of additional cables and doubled them up. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the clear plastic face plate came out in one of the tags. This problem was mentioned in one of the earlier reviews. I applied a tiny dab of gorilla glue underneath the frame and that resolved the issue. The manufacturer should permanantly attach the clear plastic to the main frame. The tags survived the trip from Dallas to Orlando and back. The metal grommets held and I did not see any tear around them. I am happy with the purchase and will order again.

Just what I was looking for
I travel extensively for work and much of it is international with multiple stops and customs checks, where my bag is loaded and unloaded multiple times during the flight. I try to keep several tags on my bag because inevitably one gets broken off during all the handling and the majority of bags are black softside rollers. After a recent trip to China where all three of my tags where gone/ destroyed, I decided it was time to try something different. I was looking for something extremely rugged and easily identifiable and found these after reading dozens of reviews for different tags. They are just what I was looking for. Heavy duty, very well crafted and attached by a metal wire ring. The clear protector keeps my business card dry and readable during transfers in bad weather.

Best luggage tags in the world!!! Can use them everywhere!
I bought TUFFTAAGs for my duffel bag but ended up getting many more and using them just about everywhere. In my opinion, if something can be lost or stolen, it needs a TUFFTAAG tag. So I've given these out for birthdays so my nephews and nieces can put these on their backpacks and still look cool at school. I also have one on my bike -- both on the front handlebars as well as on my carry rack on the back. And then because my neighbor Sammy tried to take my air conditioner unit once, I've put a TUFFTAAG on it and superglued it together. I'm going to get a red one for my shopping bag and another red one for my shopping cart (it's an old one, the grocery store said it was ok). Ok, bye.

Very Sturdy Luggage Tags
These luggage tags are sturdy, the wire that holds them is good and I'm positive will not break (I even put a little bit of thread locker on the threads to keep someone from unscrewing the cable), the opening where you read the information is large, but being so large my concern is the clear plastic cover which covers my printed information could possibly come out along with my printed information. Please keep in mind, this is only a concern but has not happened yet. I did however write my personal information on the inside of the tag in the event my card was lost. I just came back from a flight to and from Canada and everything was still in one piece, so I'm probably just being a little over cautious.

Get these!
I travel internationally A LOT (every couple months) and I usually don't take a checked back, just a carry on.. but this last time I decided to take a checked bag. Afraid of he possibility of losing my luggage, I did some research on luggage tags that could withstand some abuse. I almost opted for those aluminum ones but realized they would probably bend and break if smashed between luggage bags, and didn't want one that had my info "slide" out to view because it could possibly slide out while in transit and my info would be lost. I really like these because they bend but they're very well put together where I wasn't afraid they would break or rip if bent too much. Your information card can slide inside but it won't come out and has a clear strong cover over it. I especially liked the metal loops! They're flexible but tough! I will be buying more for my husband and friends!

Tough so far
So far, so good. These tags have lasted for a few flights and are still intact. That doesn't sound like much, but I've had other things (tags, entire bags, etc.) damaged by luggage handlers in less time.I like the tag material - allows for some bending and stretching - seems likely to be able to take a beating. The reason I bought these was for the steel cable attachment. I just wanted something that wouldn't get ripped off of the bag. It seems like the weak point would be the part where the silicone material meets the metal grommet. No issues thus far, though. And again, it seems like the the stretchy material should be able to take a beating and bounce back.I bought several more in different colors to go on all of my other bags. Hoping these stand the test of time.

Seemed good but failed....fluke?
When I got my tags in the mail, I was very impressed with the construction and design. That being said, it did not survive its first excursion. Round trip I had a total of 7 times where bag handlers had to load and unload and when I got my bag at the end of the trip, my TuffTaag was gone. I was very surprised given that it was the steel cable that broke and not the rubber part. I will try again with my 2nd tag in December for the same trip and see if it survives. The handling on this trip may have been rough since a metal pull tab on a front zipper was also broken.

Great colour, sturdy fixings, hardwearing rubber construction. Happy customer here.
Brilliant design, and brilliant colour (I went orange as I have a glossy black case and I'm a bit of a diva) make these stand out from the luggage tag masses. Well, maybe a little bit.The rubber construction is flexible and looks like it should live up to the 'tufftag' label. The hole where the stainless steel cables attach is metal reinforced, and also acts as the 'lock' to keep your name tag in place. I swapped the tags out for my business card, and it fits pretty well. I did have to trim it by about a millimetre along the edge but otherwise a good fit. Those cables to connect your tags to your luggage are worthy of a mention. Not only are they a high-grade stainless steel construction but they are a *lot* thicker and sturdier than the ones that have come with other tags I have purchased in the past. They certainly don't bend at right angles, and the restraining fixture locks into place with a satisfying grip.Seriously impressed, especially at three quid a piece. That might seem a lot for a luggage tag, I grant you, but at least you know it will still be attached to your case when you get to your destination; over and over again...

Having recently suffered lost tags on flight back from Canada (repeat occurrence) I noticed a fellow traveller with these on his bags, he explained he purchased them a few trips ago and so far so good, liking the look of them I found them on Amazon and ordered the plastic derivative. They really appear tough the steel wire which secures them is not going to snap any time soon and the tags themselves are reinforced on the eyelet, helpful fitting instructions along with a range of templates for personalisation are provided via the companys website, have made one trip so far, no damage! The delivery of item was quick and without problem,

Tuff and flexible
These tags are excellent. They can be used time and time again with your own labels. They are flexible so will not snap and have an ingenious metal fastener for fixing them to cases (they come with a spare fastener) They have just been on holiday with us and show no sign of damage after going through a process which badly damaged the handle of my father in law's new case!Additionally they give extra visibility to cases at luggage reclaim.

Excellent, robust tags with a wire cable that has to be screwed together, brilliant1 Whilst they come with the card inside to write your details on, we feel that the minimum should be a name and a telephone number (add the 00 44 prefix to assist international callers) however, a standard business card will (with some gentle persuading!) sit snug inside and if it contains an office address with your phone numbers, that's got to be better than your home address telling everyone you are not at home! Highly recommended - bought 3 packs of 2 in yellow (very bright!)

Sturdy and easy to use
Tufftag is sturdy and easy to fix to luggage. It stands up to the traumas of air travel and due to the size and strong colour it makes it easy to spot on the carousels. One luggage label was bent in half after retrieval from the carousel and went back into shape immediately! Certainly worth consideration.
