Awesome
Im a DIYr with an L405. Used this to change my transmission fluid. No issues. It costs less than letting the dealership figure out what’s wrong.

Easy to use and is exactly what a DIY BMW driver needs
Bought this to manage the battery system replacing the battery in our 428i GranCoupe. The local import shop wanted $580 to replace the battery and program the car. I was able to replace the battery w a quality battery AND use this device to register the battery. Total was less than half what the facility charged and it took me 20 minutes start to finish replacing the battery and registering it in the computer. I look forward to the diagnostics and programming beyond my initial use.

Don't expect Tech Support!
What ever you do, do not try to make a new key fob. The Tech support is non-existent. Other than that, it works fine and does what is says. As I tried to program a fob for my Range Rover, it re-programmed the car computer and even the key that worked was wiped out. I was without a car for 3 weeks. Finally had to buy an AUTEL professional key tool, unplug the battery and re-program everything.

Savings with 1st use
This little machine saved me roughly $60 with my first use. I figure it would cost me at least $200 for a BMW dealer to read and clear the OBDII codes on my BMW 645cI. This iCarsoft tool did the same for $138. That's a $62 savings. And I can use it again if / when needed at no additional cost!

Pretty decent scanner for the price
Worked awesome with my 2016 X3, was able to check all systems, set rear brake pad replacement service and reset engine oil change, without any issues, easy to use.

Good with caveats!
I bought this tool for use on my BMW. The unit allowed me access to the BMW specific codes and was easy to operate. I really liked it except for the fact that it comes loaded with version 1 software. It claims to be a "Version 2" product. I tried to access the link provided to download the version 2 software but found it not to work. I think it's important to be able to update software on a product such as this one so as to keep up with any relevant changes to current or newer models. I sent it back for a refund and purchased another product. I am not listing the name of that product since the censors here have already bounced my first review attempt. All I can say is do your own research. There are several brand specific scan tools available ranging in price from $40 on up and the prices alone are not indicative as to what a given scanner is capable of doing. An important thing to consider is whether your vehicle requires a "brand specific" scan tool to get deep into the vehicles info. Standard OBDII scanners will work on any car with an OBDII port, but the info is generic rather than specific. I would buy this model again if and when they get the software issue fixed.

Great product , I Was Able To Access BMW Codes !
This is a great product, I did have an issue with the update at first . It kept telling me that I didn't have an Icarsoft serial number , but I just had the wrong update tool downloaded. If you run into this issue , try to update using a different download tool on the icarsoft website, it worked for me , and now im up to date !

Connection is reliable, but some features lacking
All scan tools seem to have their drawbacks. This one connects reliably, which is nice.I bought this to register a battery in a 328i and X3d, which both worked as expected. But it does not work with my 330e, neither primary 12V battery nor auxiliary battery (tool says no BMS).Software updates are easy, but the software is consumer-grade - for example, sometimes "back" is the back button, sometimes it is F2. Scanning all modules for fault codes is tiresome, it was easier on my Foxwell (when it connected...). And I could not getting DPF data on my X3 diesel, so I'll need another tool.

Un poco caro, pero merece la pena
Es un poco caro, pero los acabados son muy buenos y el funcionamiento es perfecto, eso sí, por semejante precio, podía venir actualizado y con una tarjeta de más de 256Mb prehistórica

Essential for a Mercedes Owner
There are a number of ODB readers out there but this has to be be one of the best and dedicated to Mercedes. It has highlighted and cleared a number of faults on my car saving me much time and money.
