CamelBak eddy+ Kids Water Bottle with Straw, Single Wall Stainless Steel - Leak-Proof when Closed

Bestttt water bottle out there. Although the metal gets very cold and sweats!

We’ve been using the contigo auto spout bottle for my LO since 1 years old, we decided to try the eddy for the ease of flow and also the quietness which is a weird thing to think about with water bottles. The contigo is very noisy, every sip you hear like a strong suction valve-y sound due to the anti leak mechanisms, the eddy is silent except for LOs gulping haha. Also with the contigo you have to suck quite hard and for a while to satiate your thirst (in other words, for as hard as you have to suck you don’t get enough water for your while ), the eddy flows nicely, with just a slight bite down and just a moment of sucking the rest is just drinking, you don’t have to continually suck really. My LO is a huge water drinker so they are quite pleased with this water bottle and asks for refills constantly. We chose this one over the insulated version based on capacity and experience, we also have the stainless steel contigo bottle that is not insulated, they are durable stay nicer longer, keep a beverage at temperature well. My LO drinks room temp water, only iced water in really warm weather the coldness of the bottle doesn’t bother them because they usually hold the handle while carrying and sometimes while drinking. The sweat doesn’t bother us either.If/when the spout breaks we will update our review.The only negative factor is that my LO can’t seem to open the spout once it’s folded down, with the contigo that mechanism is simply a button that flips it up and hides it awayAnd that since the gasket came separated from the lid when you put the lid on it gets twisted and starts leaking when upside down. I think this is a case of a bad apple, so we will exchange it and hope that the new ones gasket has not been removed from the lid*update: I received a replacement for the cup that arrived with the gasket loose and this one arrived with the gasket intact and so far no leaking or twisting!! My LO was so excited to have their favorite cup back.My advice!! If yours by chance has arrived with the gasket loose or removed get a replacement immediately! It will not work correctly and it will leak! I’m not sure how things will fare if it ends up popping out later, or for cleaning but I assume time will tell. Maybe there’s a video In YouTube

Note to only buy if you serve room temperature water which is what I give my kids. But since the filtered water sometimes comes out cold, note that the cup does get super cold.I have had this product for a month and I hope it lasts for years. We just busted 2 plastic Eddy+ that we had for 2 years. I would say that we got our money's worth. I wonder how long this stainless steel version will last. And the airplane design is super cute.

Update:We contacted the company and they replaced the bottle. Now we don’t have any problems with leaking. However I still can’t give 5 stars because after having 4 of these water bottles and similar ones from different brands, I can see that the mouth piece is extremely delicate compared to others. They rip easily and because of the strange large open space inside the mouth piece, they are hard to clean. Other bottles’ mouth piece is much thicker and has a uniform sized tube where the water flows. So one swipe with a straw cleaner takes care of it. Ideally, I’d like the mouth pieces of our Kamelbak bottles to be replaced but not sure if they will do that.Old review:We love these water bottles and have one for each of our kids. But this one that we purchased most recently from Amazon has a problem with its inner silicon ring. It doesn’t quite fit so it doesn’t ever sit flat inside the lid. As a result the entire bottle will leak until empty if it’s left in its side. Our other ones never had this problem. It’s been like this from the moment we used it brand new. I’m sure they would replace it if we inquired. We haven’t yet reported it.

I have ordered the glass water bottles for myself. I wanted to find a similar one for my daughter and I was so excited that CamelBak makes kids bottles - With a choice of the plastic or stainless steel. The stainless steel is great - Easy to clean, keeps water cold, etc. It is a little heavier, which would be the only downside, but a great option if looking to minimize plastic. Also, very easy to clear and can purchase mouthpiece replacements, which is a huge plus. So many fun designs. Also, various designs go on sale, so definitely worth keeping an eye on that too.

I’ve had a great experience with this cup. It’s durable, fits in the car seat cup holder (graco) but the top is just a little tricky to clean. No that big a deal. I would buy it again.

We have the older version of this one in which the rubber ring keeping the water in is much thicker and more secure. This is the newer version and it seems they have opted to cut corners. Now the rubber ring is much thinner and it's hit or miss if it's going to sit right in the cap, which leaks water. And then the ring might also slip out and is therefore easy to loose. (I now have to buy a replacement ring.) The straw is also larger and if you want to buy a replacement straw, you have to cut it to size. I wish they would have just left the product as is. I used to recommend this water bottle to everyone. Leak proof, metal, compact. But now its just not as good of a product.

Bottle does leak a bit, but overall we are happy with this purchase. It has a handle, so easy for toddler to carry. Son doesnt care for cold water much, so its not an issue for us that it doesn't maintain cold water. The outside does get cold when you add cold liquids. Easy to clean, but dinos do come off over time. We like this bottle and ordered a second one for grandmas house.

Boa garrafinha, durável, não amassa fácil, resistente a riscos, fácil de beber e fácil de limpar. O canudo podia ser um pouco mais firme no encaixe da tampa, de vez em quando escapa ao manusear para encher ou fechar.A ergonomia é interessante, parece bem pensada para crianças.Por fim, vale tê-la na coleção de garrafinhas de nossos filhos.

Todo muy bien, me gusta que venden los repuestos de los popotes y las boquillas. Lo único malo es que si se abolla con los golpes 😅 con un toddler es imposible que no los tiren o lo avienten.

Me encanto solo que llego golpeado :(
