Great lump wood charcoal for the price.
This is a very good lump wood charcoal for the money. The flavor it imparts on burgers is out of this world, and if you use high quality ground beef from an actual butcher, make 1/2 pound patties, and flame broil them on a kamado grill between medium to medium well... you just can't buy a better burger anywhere. Occasionally you get big pieces that are good for smoking and/or good for snuffing out after the cook with a kamado for future use, and of course you'll have settling and probably more dust than you'll want. But for the price, it doesn't get better than this.

One bag came a little ripped but still salvageable
Just got the 3 bags of charcoal at my door I won’t be running out of that for a while. Only problem I had was that one of the bags came partially ripped but not enough that the bag was falling apart. It was a little messy but a lot of work to clean up.

Product is great - all 3 bags were damaged
I got a great deal on this hardwood lump charcoal and it works great. All 3 bags came with holes and at least 2 of the 3 had been 'repaired' with tape that didn't help much. When I opened the first box, I got charcoal powder on the carpet. Did they purposely select damaged bags to fill orders with discounted pricing? Who knows. Be careful where you open your boxes.

Small pieces, big taste
Bags came torn a little, other lump char products I have purchased never had this problem. Chunks are mostly rather small for a kamado-style grill. Flavor, however, is its saving grace.

No Prolemo
I was concerned that the lumps would get pulverized in shipping, but that didn't happen. The chips were fine, the same as if I'd bought them at a store. Only a lot cheaper! FYI, one 20# bag fits perfectly into a 10 gallon galvanized pail.

Great charcoal
These bags of charcoal are just what my husband loves and we needed more. The bags arrived on time and the charcoal burns nicely.
